I vote DBZ budokai 3 because I dont like how tenkaichis fighting system works its basically just a button masher while budokai 3 has a combo system which IS more DBZ like.

I got noth of them and played them throughtout their stories. And personally I like both of them, tenkaichi is more fast paced but still its good, I mean you can do just about anything.

Man, I hated Budokai: Tenkaichi. It's very overrated. The battle system actually seems now to be LESS impressive than Budokai 3's. Sure, they chocked it full of a wonderful volley of every single character who ever had anything roughly to do with fighting (the complete Ginyu force was nice), but the battle system was what needed improvement. The special attack system in the last game might have ended out kind of randomly, sure, but this special attack system is just irritating. You can't dodge the Spirit Bomb! That's the entire point of it!:P

Mostly, I'm just angry right now that it beat Soul Calibur 3 for GamePro's runnerup. There's no reason it needs to be nominated as the best of any category by any means. It was a decent game, but it didn't improve on the points that actually need to get better.

Thier both good, but Budokai 3 was much better because it had more moves, easier to teleport, and better story and graphics. The character design was bad in Tenkaichi. So hand in hand Budokai 3 was better. Although trying thi new battle system wasn't bad as a spin off.

Tenkaichi was okay, but I liked Budokai a LOT better. I didn't care for the new battle system, but I love Budokai's. (I miss it when the warp-kamehameha was a normal attack though...)

I've only played Budokai 2, and I liked that one. I had to figure out the controls a bit first, since I'm not used to the PS controller. I played with/against a friend and another friend of his. They had experience with the game. I did not. I became a close 2nd.

I kinda liked Tenkaichi. Mostly cause it put in Chiotzu (no idea how to spell). But yeah, the system wasn't flawless. I did kinda miss the rock-paper-scissors specials thing.

I prefer Sparking( I refuse to call it Budokai Tenkaichi because that sounds stupid.. oh I just did! :o ).

The gameplay wasn't perfect and it had it's share of flaws. Overall there just wasn't too much depth to the gameplay and characters. However, I feel that it emulated the feel of Dragonball more than the Budokai games did, and was a far better initial build than the original Budokai was. I think with some refinements it could be great.

The Budokai games are kinda blah to me. The long attack animations are nice but overall the action didn't feel as Dragonball to me. The third was an improvement but still blah.

Dont get me wrong i like dragon ballz. The games just suck.

Anyways, I have Budokai, Budokai 3, and Budokai Tenkaichi. They are all okay in my book, but I think Budokai Tenkaichi is better.

Thank you Jaden. The battle system in Tenkaichi was more like the show, a lot of attacking and a lot of countering. I did not like in #3 the way you did dragon rush. Still both are good games. Just wish you could get Omega Shenron in Tenkaichi!:mad: "He was my alt character"

No need to yell your point of view at everyone, Axl.
As for the topic, I dislike BT just for the fact that it's sort of a combination of Sagas and Budokai. It's more about utilizing the environment during a fight then actually fighting. I enjoyed B3 alot more.

B3 was good but BT is more fast-paced than the others, I haven't played Sagas yet, but in my opinion BT is still very good. I mean you can use their fusions as characters and their transformations as characters too, that's pretty cool.

Tenkaichi was ok! There are more characters than any other Dragonball Z Budokai game yet. They also have a few characters from Dragonball, Dragonball GT, and several villians from the Dragonball Z movies. One new feature that was added in this game was that now you have the choice of fighting as one of a number of different transformations of a character.

Pretty cool!;)
