Black and white movies?


I love Clerks.

Toy Story 3 run through a Black and White filter.

I got bored and watched both of them one day. I have to say, some of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I even watched the miniture cartoon like movie.

I have always enjoyed those type of movies, not sure why.

As for the next topic...

What would you consider as your, ideal cartoon? I personally would like to make one, where you are looking through someones eyes. So all the action your seeing is the action the character doing.

One that keeps me motivated enough to keep watching it would be nice. Lol.

Really just give me Team Fortress: The Animated Series

I'd watch it every day.


Or something in the same vein as Professor Layton.

Batman animated series with a teen+ audience in mind. Kinda like the new Under the Red Hood movie, with stories adapted from the comics.

I'd rather see it R-rated, personally.

I haven't seen a lot of old movies, though I am a fan of the old Zorro series. I've also seen Twelve Angry Men and thought it was pretty good, made me want to see more Henry Fonda stuff.

And now for something completely different...

How about a chance to talk about the next Resident Evil movie, Afterlife. Before it comes out.

I myself will see it, just because I saw the other three in theaters.

I'll admit, I never really cared for the films. I saw the first one and the second one. All I can really remember was how much they strayed from the video game canon.

However, Afterlife does have me slightly more intrigued. Mainly due to the fact that Wesker and Chris will be in it.

I might take a trip back and watch all of them to get a recap of all the events leading up to Afterlife, if I decide to see it.

Saw the first two movies and they were pretty bad. Didn't bother with the third one and not sure if I'll bother with this one either.

I'll probably watch it. The movies weren't the best in the world, adaptation decay aside, but they weren't that terrible.

I'm not going to watch it, but I'll be damned if I don't love Wesker now. So damn camp.

Funnily enough, I just got back from watching it and as far as the movie series goes... I was very much impressed.

Also Dean Winchester as Chris Redfield was just LOL. But not in a bad way. Overall I definitely recommend the movie... and yes, there is gonna be a fifth one from the looks of it.

Yay fellow Supernatural fan. Kind of agree with RD on this one, Jensen is a great actor, but he's not really ham-fisted enough to play Chris, but I will say this much; I found it to be better than the last two, at least in my opinion.

Oktoberfest, just finished up. My boss Gerhard, did his own during the weekend. We had had done at least 2,000 people. Therefore, the next discussion is about Oktoberfest.

Has anyone here ever been involved with one? It is not all about the beer, it is about the food and music.

This one that I recetly survived from, was the very first one I have been involved with.
