No. No your not. Invincibility is inexistant!
It's always kinda hard to get all chips. With BN 3+ the Standard's are still quite easy, but Mega's and Giga's...

Exactly. Even if you had life aura 3 with holy panel (sanctuary would be better), you still wouldnt be invincible. Bass v3 could still break through it (I think).

I havent played Megaman Battle Network 2 in a long time, so I dont know if your aura fades after a while or not. Still, there are chips that could stop that trick anyway. Anything that changes panel types can remove sancuary or Holy panel can reduce the amount of damage you can take to less than 200. And poison panels can still hurt you even if you have an aura.

To call yourself invincible, you would have to be able to change panels to holy panels at will and have a life aura 8 or something. (I dont know if Gospel has an attack that does 400...).

Still, in Megaman Battle Network 2, that combo is almost invincible because 400 damage is almost half of your life, where in Megaman Battle Network 3 and beyond, you can have alot more, somewhere near 3000 (using lots of programs). There is a code on the mod tools that gives you +1000 Hp, but at a cost: you must not have ANY errors in the navicust (you must enter the +1000 code in the error screen) and any panels you walk on turn to poison. There are weaker versions of the +HP codes, like +250, but any higher than 250 and you will have bugs!

But, there are other methods of "almost invincibility". I only know one other one, but it does awsome, no matter what the damage! Ill put it in spoilers, just in case.

Spoiler (click to toggle)
Have a wood style and have grass stage as your pre-set (even better, have it as a navi-cust program). Also, have Under Shirt on so you will be left at 1Hp no matter what (as long as you came from above 1HP). Now, when you get hit, you could be left at 1hp, but the grass stage heals you to above 1hp. Then when you get hit again, you will still be left at 1hp. You probably wont survive rapid attacks such as the guts style machine buster or the twisters, but anything else will keep you alive.
The same rule applies to this as the other "almost invincible" trick, a change in panels, and you have a problem.

A HeatSpread will make short work of you, yes. And as Mystic stated, multiple (rapid) hit chips, like Vulcan chips, will get you in grave danger if you're low on HP.

Every invincible trick has it's own weakness, that would be fake and unfair to another player if you were battling via link cable and were invincible. However, when fighting common thugs that are really hard, this is a valuable trick.

Yah thats true somethings get worthless against viruses though as in bn5 I have life aura but all the viruses can break it.

Yeah, well battle network 5 is meant to be hard. But once you unlock the second gate in the nebula net, even viruses in the ACDC area can (and should) be able to break your aura. But, the life aura is really only good if you need a quick, one-turn defense. I was amazed to see bubble wrap back in the game. That chip hasn’t been seen since battle network 2. I see it as one of the best chips you can get. Unless you are hit by an electric attack or put up a different defense, the bubble will keep regenerating when popped. In bn2, the greatest use for the bubble wrap is those server things in the WWW area that count down from 10 then explode. The explosion is one-hit, so you won’t get hurt from the blast with bubble wrap. Then when they count down from 10, you will have your bubble wrap back up in less time than that.

Bubble wrap is amazing! It can block any attack (except for elec attacks) and still regenerate!

Wouldn't it be just plain awesome to combine chips (besides PA's) like Bubble Wrap and Life Aura?

Man, Invincebility, here Morph comes! =D

Well, we already have Black Barrier in BN4 after you've beaten da crap outta Bass GS. A dark 100-barrier that regenerates for a while.

Imagine THAT combined with the last two.

That was Blakbarr. What sucked about it is you had to be dark...

So, a dark bubble wrap that has a point value of 300... and wont disappear to electric attacks and regenerates in 3 seconds... that is SWEET!!! It will be named... DarkBubl... yeah...

I'm weird at that. In BN4, I'm like a light that does not work. Dark-Light-Dark-Light-Dark-Light-Normal-Dark-Light-Dark...

today i got me a copy of Megaman Battle Network 5 Double Team DS and there is something i can't figure out.

i inserted a copy of team of Colonel in the GBA slot and Double Team in de DS slot, i started the Colonel part of Duoble Team, but i didn't get Forte Cross Rockman, like i thought that would happen.

does anyone know how it works?

EDIT

never mind i already know.but now i want to know which game to slot into the GBA for Sol Cross Megaman? on Gamefaqs it says Boktai 3 but in the booklet it says Boktai 2. Well I trust the booklet and inserted Boktai 2 but i didn't get Sol Cross Megaman.

What is this?

could it be because i have a Pal Boktai and a NTSC MMBN5DT?

if anyone know please tell me

well for Bass cross Megaman you need to get a Bass mark in the ToC/ToP versions, which my sister doesn't have (she ownes ToC.) at least that's what i think

but i still don't know what to do for So(u)l cross Megaman (it says Soul in the booklet)

EDIT: Major breakthrough, it seems my Boktai 2 game does not make ANY contact with BN5DT. this is propably because of the region difference: Boktai = PAL, BN5DT = NTSC. i checked it with the 1000 Bat game and the Zoktai(?) Trader wasn't in the Oran Area.

Oh god I feel like an Ass saying this. I recently bought BN5 DT and I was playing a battle when megaman went to danger EMO and I tried cheering but I didn't know what to say and then one battle later he went to danger stage but the second the custom window opened it stopped and he gained HP.
1. What do I say when I cheer?
2. Why the hell did it come out of danger when I never cheered at all?
