1) General information

That game is trying to follow the gameplay of Mega Man 5, for the old Nintendo Entertaining System (NES). This was one of my favorites Mega Man NES games, that's why I started this project: better graphics, better sound, etc. I hope you enjoy that game! Just don't forget this is a demo, so it's still full of bugs. E-mail me for comments, ideas or anything at mmpc@crosswinds.net, or post a message in my message board on the site!

2) Controls

Note: Don't use the mouse, except to quit! Click with the mouse and your screen may become black (no joke: known bug)! To quit, just click at the top left of the screen.

Keyboard controls:
Arrow keys => Move Mega Man
Z => Jump
X => Fire
C => Slide

There's also some other keys, that are programmed ONLY for the beta tests... They'll disappear in the final version, so don't key used to them :-) Note that these keys are for test only, so I'll not remove the bugs from them!
A => Remove yourself 1 HP
S => Remove to the boss 1 HP
E => Use an E-Tank (full your HP)
T => Teleport out of the stage


3) Installing

You need to download three files. All links are in the Download section: 
- Mega Man 5 for PC Demo 1: the executable files
- Mega Man 5 for PC Music files: the MIDIs files. I'll put that on the same download as the executable files later.
- Windows Media Player: trought the website or http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/download/allplayers.asp


4) Hints

- Try first Gravity Man or Napalm Man. These are are not moving yet, so you can try the keys to move Mega Man and practice yourself.
- For the challenge, enter Crystal Man. This one is moving, and pretty fast! Good luck to get him! (I can do it without using E-Tanks, but it's not easy.)
