| Do I need to register? |
You need to register in order to draw or comment. Registeration is free. You don't need to do so if you are only taking a look around, although you won't be able to use all features. |

| What does IOekaki means? |
It stands for "Interordi Oekaki", in contracted form. "Oekaki" is a japanese word which means "to draw", or "picture drawing". |

| About specific board features |
| What is "resume", or "resuming"? |
Resume, a feature often mentionned related to oekaki boards, allows you to save a work in progress in order to continue your drawing later on. This is available with IOekaki v1.6 and up. Note that only Shi-Painter supports resuming: PaintBBS is not compatible with that feature! |
| What can I do and cannot do with resume? |
The feature has been implemented differently here compared to other oekaki boards. When you decide to save a picture with the idea to resume it later on, you can't post it for the others to see. The file will be saved on the server in a private area so that only you can view your current status and eventually continue working on it. The goal of this is simple: it keeps the main board display free of half-finished pictures that the artists never go back to complete. |
| Can I modify my picture after posting it? |
If you've sent your picture to be displayed publicly, you can't go back to work on it. No exceptions will be acceptedd. |
| Can I remove the animation? |
The picture animation, linked at the bottom of each picture (if available), gives a chance to the visitors to see how you've drawn your art. If you wish to disable this, either to protect your techniques or for any other reason, you can uncheck the "Save the animation?" option at saving time, or go through the edit process and check the "Delete the animation?" option. This operation can't be reversed once complete. |

| How can I get back a lost picture? |
If you encountered a problem between the time that you hit the "Send" button on the applet and the moment of saving the picture to the board, it might be possible for you to get it back. In order to do so, go back to the applet page where you were drawing. If the picture can be found, a special message will be displayed near the top offering a link back to the picture saving screen. |
