Is it early or late, I have no idea it's just after 4AM for me really to early to be thinking about a background...if only I could resume pictures that would be great. anyway this is for Zero-one, because I can NOT draw kenshin this is from gundam seed...done mostly in my own style

 But seriously dude, this rocks hard. The clothes and the texture of them are amazing. Also, you got his hair and expression just right. The only thing missing is the background.

The first time I saw him I yelled "IORI!" Heck, I'd say it's obvious where the character designers got their inspiration. If I'm not mistaken, this Kira fellow even has that uselss "belt between both legs" thing going on.
(picture of Iori for those who don't know) Lovely shading on the hair, though. And admirable shading on the shirt accenting folds and wrinkles. Completely random: I just can't get in to a majority of the "Gundams." Dunno why. the belt thing on the pants are well, bondage pants, I'd guess. I'd call that kind of useless outfit to really fight in because you'd trip all over yourself. XP Why Iori doesn't trip over himself, I have no idea.

I'm so glad you're back UX. I really love these.
 No anime-style should ever run out of hair-gel. I say we donate to the "Anime Hair Association," or AHA. Anyways, as always I'm loving those thick lines. Not as much shining as usual, but lack of hairgel does that I guess. And I like the expressions. They're cool even without the gel.

It would have been better if you could have finished it, but it still looks pretty nice. I think that also, the nose is sort of connected to the mouth, and is a sort of flesh color. The correct spelling is "Giraffarig," I believe.
Tanka. Yeah I know theres no background and the lines are skechy. I can't blend or fix lines on Oekaki's real well. If I do touch it up, it will be on photoshop. ^^

Hehe, you might as well touch it up on Adobe Photoshop, since this oekaki board doesn't provide the retouch option...yet.
This was going well, actually. The next time you use the oekaki applets, try experimenting with the tools to get used to them, especially the pencil tool (which is a pain on the butt to use). It took me forever to get used to 'dem damn tools. LOL |

... and then Heatman heard a voice in the distance... ....why'd you forget to ask for a tablet for Christmas?....  Anyways, hope you all like it. I've got some Christmas ideas I hope to get done sometime. Once exams are over and done I'm gonna feel so good.

I wouldn't mind gettin' a tablet myself for Christmas Heat. I'd be bithcin' if you got one.
Anyway, I like the textures, and the glass looks very nice. Only things I'll need to crit on are the 2nd servbots arms and pipes are a confusing mess. Then we have the 3rd servbot from the left. Too small of a thing to be drawing with such a fat drawing tool. The arms looked messed up, but I think you really already knew that, but with only a mouse it's a great drawing.

Want a tablet, do you? Maybe if you get money as presents for Christmas, you can purchase a WACOM tablet, so long as it's not from eBay, mind them. If you have the access...or option to order online, try to look for a 'feasible' website to order from...Oh, and try to look for a discount on WACOM tablets, because the ones sold on their website can be quite expensive (even discounted WACOM products are still pretty pricey). I really see what you mean about the arms, Gutter, looking back on it now. And I'd realized the thing about the Servbot in the back but... honestly, I was just lazy.
 And UX, I looked into ordering one off of a site... it looks like a pen and a mouse. Is that the right thing? |

Anyways, I like the kanji and the signature (is that what the sun-like symbol is?). Also, I sort of like the sword and hand. My only criticism is that the head looks somewhat wide.

When I started this i wanted it to be a GREAT oekaki...but by the time I was actualy finished I was glad that I did not shut off my computer, i think I did a good job on the face it's the best I have done in a good long time. Okay people, everyone hit me with your best criticism stuff.

Man, I'm loving that light effect. Also, that's some sweet arm positioning. You know, with all this cool lighting, you almost forget there's no background. Then again, maybe that would only clutter it.
For some reason, I'm thinking her face seems irregularly shined in comparison to the rest of the pic...

Looks something similar to Rockman Neo -style? If you mean thick legs and hands, then I'll say that this kind of style was used in newer Sonic the Hedgehog looks first.
Anyway, if this is not the case, then forget what I said. By the way, nice picture. I like the chosen colors and the sketchy looks a lot. Background is a little too simple for my taste, but it's better than no background at all. |

did I inspire you to draw LoL you must have done this really fast. it's not your best work but it's still cool i like the glare on the hair it looks cool an I like the dark outline, the thing I don't like is that the proportions look strange like his arms are shorter than they should be, and he looks a really stiff. but it's ok
