Kenorland: Breaking Bed, take 2! After all that grinding last month, it would be nice to have a chance to rest, wouldn't it? This month's challenge is a return of Breaking Bed, under a different formula, with the same goal: find and/or craft each bed color, then break it. Each differently colored bed broken is worth one Merit Point, for a possible total of 16. To the opposite of the previous run, there are no bed superbosses, so that's one thing you don't need to worry ab ...

Today, I'm extremely happy to announce the next big step for the Creeper's Lab: Minecraft Bedrock Edition support! While we're not quite there yet, the two are getting close enough where it's getting realistic for both sets of players to meet each other online at last. This means that players of Bedrock Edition on both Windows 10 and mobile can now jump in with us! ...

Potential clean-up in past contest areas
Update by Doctacosa
Started by Administrator on 22 November 2019 at 4:34
All contest areas are usually set around a given theme and have been designed to have a cohesive look amongst all buildings. New additions after the contests are usually welcomed, as long as they stick to the known theme and follow the same rules as the existing entries.

To help keep that unified, clean look, I'm adding an extra guideline today: at the staff's discretion, builds within former contest areas that don't belong are subject to be removed after two months of inac ...

Status of the 1.14 update
Update by Doctacosa
Started by Administrator on 30 April 2019 at 2:14
I've started the update process for 1.14 and performed a dry run to see how the new version will work with our current setup. Unfortunately, a major complication has shown up: the plugin that's currently in place to track the player statistics is not compatible with 1.14 and its author has abandoned it. While it would be possible to move forward without it, it's tied to a lot of systems: achievements, player profiles, griefing tracking, and more. Considering that the achieveme ...

I'll use the time before then to finish some needed software development along with ensuring that things are as stable as possible. A few minor items will likely be missing at first, but will be added back in when either myself or the original plugin authors take care of it. Those who have ...

Being a public Minecraft network comes with some challenges, especially when it comes to managing new players. Not everyone works out, and some actually need to be forcibly removed for the best of the community.

In order to make the list of bans more available to everyone, as well as warn others of potential issues, we've compiled a public Wall of Shame. This lists every single ban that happened on the Creeper's Lab history, along with an explanation if available, and gets autom ...

You can hide these markers by using the layers button at the left and unchecking the "Regions" option if you so wish.

If you can think of other areas that should be identified, please reply to this news post or ...

The December seasonal event, the Grindatron, has been going since the beginning of the month and many people seem to be enjoying it so far. Based on the feedback gathered from the community, I've done the following balance changes:
