Leaving (123 ) Why are people leaving? Started by Juno on 14 February 2006 at 23:48
Okay, I\'m sure a few of you have realized that some times people, good people, bad people, even people you don\'t really take the time to pay attention to just up and leave. We don\'t ever find out why they\'re leaving...they just go.
I am writing this because a person on this board, I\'m not sure if all of you remember her (I bet prince5 does), her name was darkalchelmy001. She was a kool kid:) I liked her a lot. (Not in that way.) I PMed her just a day or so ago, here\'s the PMs:
Where ...
Your random little tidbit of the day. The whole Mega Man PC Website thing started out with a few visitors mostly from the Capcom BBS, their forums at the time.
Today, Capcom announced that they'll be shutting down their current iteration of forums at Capcom Unity, with no replacement planned. It was the last descendant of the old BBS.
Coincidence: They're shutting down on 6 May, which happens to be the 20th anniversary of the MMPC Website!
I'll be making this one short, much like the attention span of a phone user nowadays! :D
Last year's prank messed up with the display of forum posts in various ways, but was apparently so sneaky that almost no one realized what I did... To counter that, this year, I went for an in-your-face version by bringing back colors and fonts that would've have been right at home on a Geocities website of the late 1990s!
My plan was to make things even worse, with animated gifs, &q ...
Microtransactions! Free-to-play! We all love spending money, right?
... what do you mean, you don't?
This year's prank involved the fake addition of transactions based on donations, to "help support the server's costs". The idea came to me after seeing how well the donations have been working to support the Minecraft server, although that kind of contributions isn't really needed here. For the record, don't worry about this web server: the fees are m ...
I've noticed that there are now badges, including ones related to a game that I play (TF2) and one that I might play (Katawa Shoujo). How do these badges work, what do they represent, and how do I get them?
As indicated in the announcements, Cyber Grid is real! I'll let you read that separately, although this will make for a short recap this year.
Some people suggested in the past that I could use April's Fools Day to update the board after each event. I didn't stick to the idea too closely, but it proved to be convenient a few times. This year, however, I got two half-complaints that this move was kinda obvious. I guess I'll have to ...
Last year I played it very serious. I decided to do the opposite this year and play it quite silly, with Visual Novels on disabled girls and ponies being scattered all over. Friendship is Magic! Even then, I tried to keep a semblance of veracity to plant a seed of doubt in your mind. "What if he's serious?" The mix of pranks & real new elements didn't help!
The board skin used to display these pages is now back to your previous selection. The Ponies theme is stil ...
yo this is screaming55 just dropping by cuz i wanna know if there's a megaman2 pc version cuz i heard liike there's one but they don't sell it no more dang i just want you to tell me where you can get it
peace out!
As of this writing, 30 of the 35 achievements are currently known. Doc was good enough to drop some clues that there are more achievements to be had tied to post count, which might be for responses or topic creation.
As I've indicated before, I'm interested in expanding the scope of this site and community to touch on other subjects that are of interest to you, yet have the potential to draw new people in. The past year saw the addition of Minecraft (on the Creeper's Lab) as a major feature, but there's more underway! And that comes with a big surprise:
The Stream is back!
Stronger, bolder, with new tools and options, the Stream is back for you to use! Many changes and improvement ...
We rode the wave, surfed the Stream, achieved our thoughts...
Once again, welcome back everyone! This year's event, for those who were there, consisted of a total revamp of the message board's overall structure to showcase a brand new system: IOSoBo, the Interordi Social Board. How it looked, however, was a total ripoff of Facebook's look and feel! Considering how much place social networks now take, it seemed like a logical step forward!
"Time leads us. Time governs us. The passage of time is the key."
These are the words that welcomed you yesterday as you visited the board. A cryptic message for sure, it had a hidden message: "come back again several times today, things will change as time moves forward". Surely enough, it did! As the day advanced, the prank hidden within the message board's software caused the posts to become more and more corrupted, up to the point of becoming completely unread ...
We're now in 2011, after a whole decade of the Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab alongside Interordi.com's presence on the Internet. The situation is not the same now as it used to be. Message boards are going on the wayside, and social networks are taking center stage. After considering the situation for a while, and weighting my options, I decided to work on something new for Mega Man fans and their friends. I thus present to you IO ...
Question: How do I open the last door in NumberMan's stage? I need the school ID!
Answer: BUY THE GAME! Your emulator won't allow you to go any further than this, so go out in a store and get the game!Funny, I got past that no problem using VBA. So it does work in emulators. But as for the fourth game, I hear Blue Moon crashes on Woodman's stage using anything other than original GBA (that means GBASP, Game Boy Player, DS, and emulators).
Gaming is always moving forward, ever changing both on consoles and computers, because of the evolving hardware, the new concepts that get introduced, and the mood of the players. Alongside that, social medias in the past few years have really taken off to the point that they now take the largest portion of the online time of some people.
To better understand that, and to get a grip on some ongoing trends, I've prepared a survey that I'd like you to fill. It's only 11 short ...
I was playing with the idea of switching the Mega Man PC Website over to a new layout, and I've put together a sample based on the homepage. This is still very much a work in progress, but it gives a solid idea of the direction I'm heading in.
Praised be the Great Leader! ... erm, welcome back to normal, everyone!
Peace, quiet, and equality with a side dish of communist is what awaited people as they visited the message board for this year's April's Fools Day. Many, many small details had been changed, but the most visible were the Ever Staring Dr. Cossack and the Mind-Wipe Room. The Stare was present on all board pages, while the Room was summoned once a visitor (member or not) read at least 3 different topics within ...
Score? (In post search) Started by God on 8 March 2010 at 22:31
Okay, I don't know if this is "new", but if it was always there I've never noticed it before... in the post search results, there was a column "Score". In the "get all posts by member" where I noticed it, all of the "Score"s were 0. What is this? (I looked to see if there had been a voting mechanism added for some reason but that didn't seem to be the case... )
I own Rockman X7 for the PC. I play the game using a Logitech gamepad, by mapping keyboard commands unto the gamepad. 1 time, I tried to return to the title menu and the game crashed. Nothing too bad, it occasionally happens and I can resume play by entering it again. But recently, the game crashed and since then it has completely ceased responding to controls. Even when I install it anew, it doesn't answer the keyboard or the gamepad! Only usual commands like Alt+Tab and Alt+F4 still w ...
The oldest members still around to this day might remember that, a long time ago, I used to follow the Mega Man news and report them on the front page of the Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab. However, the Great Crash of 2002 forced me stop as I needed to free up my time to rebuild the website and focus on related activities. Well, after all this time, it's time to get the ball rolling again!
However, this time around, I'm looking for some help to make this happen. Whi ...

A new chatroom! Come in and chat with others as you wish... Started by Doctacosa on 6 June 2007 at 2:32
As I just posted in the news of the Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab:
The existing chatroom system, powered by an IRC server and supported by a Java applet, has been replaced in favor of a web-based system running X7 Chat. The new system has to be accessed through your web browser at the same address as before, and includes most of the features you'd expect from a common chat system: multiple rooms as needed, private chatting, user accounts, and so on. Several settings can ...

(if that didn\'t make any sense)
Please tell me how to make a own message board site.
