hi there

ever since ive gotten my hands on the PC version of X7, i\'ve been trying to search far and wide for an english patch.

i eventually gave up, but still wanted to play it.

i have about 80% of the game translated.
the main reason I cant thorougly test this is that X7 is just a painful game to play.

i really dont like it compared to any other megaman game ever made (apart from megaman soccer).

so anyone with knowledge of how the file formats work (how to edit them?), how the directory structure works, or any information at all, please leave a post here.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get rid of the underlines in the writing?

Any ideas on how to modify this text?

As for the voice/sound files, I will leave them seperate from the text/movie subtitles.

This makes for smaller downloads for people who wish to keep the original japanese voices (if i had it my way i would of replaced it with the Megaman X8 voices or something)



PS. If anyone has the time and patience to test this patch throughly, please leave a post. I really dont like this game so I cant be stuffed testing it properly.

That\'s wonderful. I always am in awe of translators. Unfortunately I have no clue about X7\'s game engine so..can\'t help you there.

i think thtas all i can do for now

its fairly playable till the end
ill get around to modifying the voices if i have enough time or can be bothered
voice acting on both versions are pretty atrocious so if people want it then ill do it

if anyone has an idea of how to modify the writing in the files, please tell me.
ill fix it up a bit and upload somewhere in a massive patch file.

Question: Can you save? I mean I got the patch, everything is dandy english, but when that ps2 save message thingy pops up, it even creates a savefile (I think) But afterwards it doesn\'t save in the slot, no matter how much I mash the V key.
Could you save after the translation, or did you already have a savegame?

its just labels (pictures and writing) that was replaced
the functionality behind the scenes wasnt touched at all

Hi boys, I'm new of here.
Can anyone make an Italian translation for RockMan X7 on PC?
Or I would like to know how translate RockMan X7 for PC in Italian, as have done you in English and Spanish, ripping PS2 version files. I'm interested only in text translation, not also audio, beacuse i like that in japanese

I need to know only what files I mmust take from Demo folder.

I am having problems getting the game to run, with or without the patch. XP SP3 any ideas?

I get a gibberish (I assume Korean) error message when I go to run it. I've tried all compatability modes, and I've installed it a few times already, but I'll try it a couple more just to make sure.
