Ike's "guard" looks more to me like he's pulling his sword out of the ground...maybe he has a down+A similar to Link?

I FOUND MY NEW MAIN.
I MEAN, SRSLY.
HOLY CRAP.
Rofl, new Teej would beat me to it.
This one REALLY took me by surprise. Wasn't expecting THAT.
I'm just glad it's not the lamewad from Diamond, and they did the smart thing and made it the original.
Or, god forbid, Ash Ketchum....
On a side note, imagine: Charizard with a Beam Sword =
But it looks like if you don't space 'em out then something bad happens. Maybe constant switching or favoritism makes them hit for less?
You know what I'm looking forward too?
Stadium: Pokemon Stadium
All players pokemon trainers.
The first ever in-game real time pokemon battle! I am REALLY looking forward to doing that!

But, what happens on Rumble Falls?
Trainer go bye-bye, methinks.
Then again, he's got strong legs from all that biking he does. Maybe he can just jump up and follow along.
*sighs*
And now we get to deal with Uber-1337 Pokeyman Fanboy Teej for the next couple of days. Wonderful.
Very cool update, I was hoping for a new character soon, and this was a suprise, and different color pokemon would be very cool.
:O
That was completely and utterly unexpected.
I thought they were going to introduce Ness or Lucas today, based upon Friday's revelation, but no.
But still. Damn.
Or, the poster formerly known as Pri- I mean, rockmaniskool.
The inclusion of a Pokemon trainer hurts my brain.
I'm henceforth referring to him as Red. Because Red is cooler than the generic "Pokemon Trainer".
I got this image from another Brawl thread on this other forum I go to. You must admit, it raises an interesting point...
Yes, it's shopped. Compare it with the original....
And it's obvious that that shape isn't present in the actual image. Wishful thinking, though. I'd like very much for this to be true so it could just end the suspense.
Well, Sonic was the most requested character for Brawl... though I imagine there'd be difficulties in trying to give him working attacks for the game.
But hell, if they can manage to fit Red in, who knows who'll show up? Sonic is still a good possibility.

While I agree that all the speculation has to be taken with a grain of salt, we have to remember that this game is essentially the ultimate fanservice, where the fans decide the roster.
Much to everyone's surprise, Charizard got in. I wasn't expecting it, but I can recall various times when people have said how awesome he would be in Brawl.
And Miyamoto and Iwata -have- both said that Sonic is the most requested. While I don't necessarily agree with it, I can't deny the large possibility of it actually happening.
The latest update is just plain evil--no pun intended.
The Assist Trophy: Devil. From the game Devil World, which never made it to the US. The Devil flies to a certain part of the battlefield, points in a certain direction... and the screen shifts in the opposite direction. And if you go offscreen... well, you know. This incites new, inventive strategies!
Like jumping off the edge, for example.
Evil. Just plain evil.
Meh. Kind of interesting but I'd prefer more info on Red/PT.
Sonic'll have that crappy air spin move, I assume?
Nah. I did put in an English-written post in the poll but I'm sure it was filtered out for said language it was written in.
I recall suggesting...Little Mac? There were some others but that's the one I remember the most.
wtf Stickers?
yes the next update involves stickers.
during gameplay you collect stickers which you can use to make your own personal player card,
there goes the trophies me thinks
and about the Sonic photoshopped picture, Sonic Teams logo has the quills to the right, would be strange to use a "completely" different logo than the Sonic Team logo
Well, it says "Stickers are easier to get a hold of than trophies." I would think that means they haven't TOTALLY thrown it out the window.
So... now the update is something completely unshocking. A move that was already in the last game.
Oh well... maybe it'll be easier to perform without falling to your death or something.
~ Nothing is foolproof to a truly talented fool.
That move was always a pain in the rear to use successfully. Whether it was with Link's Hookshot or Samus' Grapple Beam.
Now it'd be a nice touch if you could swing yourself over using a tether recovery. Because, you know, some places where you grab on, you're merely just delaying the inevitable.
I'm getting happier and happier that I decided to not stay awake waiting for updates. Aside from PT, this week has been surprisingly uninteresting.
