Uhm... the reploids in the Zero series, mainly the first game, had blood. So it's nothing new.

OF COURSE there's going to be a sequal.

You should all know better by now. When it comes to MegaMan games, there's no such thing as a 1-hit wonder (aka game without a sequal)

Seriously. I'll give 50 Bajilliion points to anyone who can find me an old stand-alone series game without a sequal. (Not spinoff games like RockMan and Forte.)

Rofl, no he wasn't killed in X5, Dynamo was merely beaten twice by X and or Zero in X5. I know this as much as anyone should....he appeared a few times in X6 if you went to the secret areas.
