God knows Mega Man ZX references past games in the Mega Man metaseries. Just how many cameo appearances are there in the game? (Besides the obviousness of Biometals and plot-related content.

So far I've found that... just about everything in Praire's room is a cameo. The stuffed animals look like the cyber elves. There's pictures of Zero, Ciel, and Alouette on the walls. Prairie has Ciel's pink dress next to her own outfit. The black pillow has Zero's "Z" symbol from the Zero series.

In the room beneath the deactivated car in the city, you can find in the background a giant Pantheon and an E-Can. Also in the city are the two racers the kids use.

The carnival area's crane game room has yet more references. Plushie Mettaurs aren't the only things those cranes will pick up. You'll see Pantheon plushies, virus plushies, Passy plushies (the cyber elf who resurrected Zero), and even a rare plushie of both Leviathan and Mayl of BN.

I thought that those were the only references in the series, however just now I found another one. Go to Area F-3 (the tall area where you're looking for the distress call) and from the entrance, go all the way over to the right and get on the upper ledge. Destroy the ice and boxes, and you'll find the body of Chilldre Inarabitta, one of Wiel's Numbers, stuck upside down in the background.

So, has anyone else found other cameo appearances? If so, post them here!

Wow, you're good.

I haven't found any more than you've seen yet (other than the hidden Zero Game Pak bosses and the secret Biometal), but I have seen other cameos in other games that are similar to these:

X4: Blizzard Buffalo and Chill Penguin can be found frozen in the Ice.
BN: Posters and mats, posters and mats... Zero, Bass, and so much more

Is it me, or do many ZX characters bear striking resemblences to old Zero characters? Even Serpent gave me a Craft impression at first, and his second form kinda compined Elpizo 2 and Great Redips in a sort of cool way. Also, Prometheus was made with a lot of skull-related designs, like Wily's many bases and some robots.

Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'

You forgot Hewlig Uorobockle, during the very first boss fight, against the giant snake. You can see his shoulder, arm, and leg in a tree.

I'm currently keeping my eyes open for any others.

You also forgot to mention the boss fights in area N.

Huh. Snake-reploid is there.

I felt Area N and the highway were pretty much given. Anyways, I never said I found them all, so I didn't "forget" any of them.

He's stuck in a tree stump, but yeah, I do believe that is him. I still haven't found any others yet.

Yeah, the very first time I played ZX, I discovered the Childre Inarabitta on my own. I have told others about it and they couldn't believe their eyes. If there are any others, there either well hidden or there are not any more.

If no one's found it out yet, I think areas M and N, near their connection, strongly resemble Sub-Arcadia.

I recently bought Megaman Zero, as I was playing the Underground Laboratory, something struck me and I thought to myself "wow something about the level reminds me of Slither Inc.?" So I kind of get the idea that Slither Inc. might be designed after the Underground Laboratory.

Any one else think so?

Not sure if anyone is still interested in this topic, but since I just got the game, and no one has mentioned it yet...

Aztec Falcon (from Zero 1) is on a merry-go-round in the background of the amusement park.

Nothing is foolproof to a truly talented fool.

Sorry, MegaMan, but it looks like you
might be stuck up there for a little while more... Actually... at this rate... you may NEVER come down!!! *sob*

I found a wrecked Golem in the crane game area of the amusement park. Also, the background for the airship section of the amusement park reminds me of a Zero level, not sure which. I want to say Neo Arcadia, but I dunno.

Was it Pegasolta Eclair's sky garden stage? I was reminded of that and the airship battle in MMZ2.

No, it was the blue color and the glowing red lines that made me think of Neo Arcadia. I'm not sure why.

Oh, maybe the second stage - the tower. That was kinda blue and had glowing red elements in its design. I liked the Neo Arcadia stages best out of all the MMZ stages, but I really don't know why.

I'll have to check that out, Aztec Falcon is one of my favorite bosses from the whole Zero series.

I'll post again if or when I find him.

I found him. He's there, on the Carousel in the first section of the Area.

Even though Model A is NOT Axl and had absolutely nothing to do with him. His looks may well be a tribute to Axl :3 So I think that counts as a "Cameo"....Technically speaking anyways.

Keep in mind we can't rule out the possibility that Albert used Axl's data for the creation of Model A. There's too many similarities between Axl and Model A to rule it out entirely.

After all, what's in a name?

Well I suppose that's true. :3 I mean, he does act a lot different now (if he is Axl) but he does have kinda the same cocky attitude he once had.

Since no one else has mentioned ZXA cameos, can name a few at the top of my head.

In Rosparks level, at the base of the tower, before you start climbing. You see the green mechanical stump, look in the stump a little to the right, about mid way down. There are greyish blue parts and a little outlining that shows some of Wire Sponge.

The X1 red seamonster is a reward for doing one of the Side-Missions.
