I don't know that much about Gundam, but I can say that the Mega Man side is spot on. 
From my point of view, this is a very clear indication on how the various Gundam series tie together, and where to start if I wanted to watch them!

The lack of G Gundam is distressing; however, I believe it qualifies as similar to the arcade fighters (power battles/power fighters) which were just an over-the-top fanservice which to this day has a cult following. I love the Turn A/Legends comparison though; that's spot on.

InactiveI find the lack of Gundam Wing distressing. Though it seems to fit the early X series--when it was less dark and more full of camp and Ho Yay.

Gundam Wing is often considered a "cliff notes" to the UC series, basically Gundam, Zeta, ZZ, and CCA condensed into a single show...
... that was less dark and more full of camp and Ho Yay.

Saw that picture awhile ago and it shocked me at how true it was.
Does this mean that Rockman & Forte is 0083?
