National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short, is for all those peoples who have novels that they never write.

This is your chance to write them. The purpose of this event is to write a 50,000 word novel from Nov 1--Nov 30.

I'm taking part this year, knowing full well about that millions of abandoned projects that I've let fall by the wayside. I intend to pick them back up... eventually. But this one is happening for real. So far it's already longer than most of them.

Thing is, these don't have to be good. They just have to get done. That's the point, really. That you need to get past the fear of sucking and just do it. Because the first one is probably going to suck anyway no matter what you do.
