I totally called it.

Capcom announced that they'll be releasing later this year the Rockman 25th Anniversary Soundtrack, which includes the soundtracks from the numbered games in the original series, in a fancy e-can package.

At ~185$ US, I'm definitely not importing that, but it's the first actual content for the 25th anniversary. Hopefully, more will follow!

Despite having all of that music already, I will probably get this. I can only hope the booklet is amazing, otherwise I'm paying an awful lot for an E-can paperweight.

Addendum: I guess Capcom is fully embracing the idea that only Mega Man soundtracks are profitable anymore? I hope these 2 come with better inserts...

For anyone nutty enough to get this, CDJapan is now accepting preorders. The item is supposed to be an E-Capcom exclusive, and that store doesn't ship outside of Japan, so this is a nice alternative for an added fee. I've made several orders with CDJapan in the past, and they've always proven to be reliable.
