This forum is dedicated to the Original Series in the Mega Man realm. Ranging from Mega Man 1 to 8, to the GameBoy titles and oddball games (Mega Man Soccer, anyone?), this series includes by far the largest number of games. For the future, the question is: did Capcom forgot about the original Blue Bomber?

Yes. Dr. Thomas Xavier Light was the principal creator, and his creation of Mega Man was aided by his research, which he did with assisstant Dr. Albert W. Wily.

I think (and am pretty sure) that he was asking about the creation of the CONCEPT of the MegaMan games itself. And I suppose credit would go to Mr. Inafune.

Greetings, I am having trouble finding a midi file to the Megaman Television Series. You know, the 1995 Television Series. If any of you can find one please respond to this post or PM ME. Also, don\'t forget seasons 1-3 are out for DVD by ADV Films for 30 dollars each. Season 1 on the first DVD Box set and Season 2-3 on the Second Box set. Yes, the Original 1995 Megaman Series :-D:-D:-D

Built to resemble the Native Americans of centuries ago, Tomahawk Man follows up his basic programming to be knowledgeable and wise about their beliefs as well. His original function was akin to a ranger of the plains but the destruction of the land made him bitter about the lack of respect given by outsiders. His weapon of choice is his silver tomahawk, an axe head grafted onto the end of his right arm. He can use it to fire axe blades of energy at his opponents, and can also pull shrapnel feathers from his headdress to throw like daggers. Tomahawk Man's priorities sometimes get mixed up -- he'll fire a warning shot at someone chopping down a tree before an attacking enemy. His dislike of those that would destroy nature can extend to his fellow Master brothers, but he tries to make his dislike known vocally instead of by action.

By the way for people that have trouble with megaman 5 or any other games ill tell ya a secret.
I Play the levels over and over till i have the limit of 9 E tanks and 1 M tank. And make sure you have full before going to protoman. Oh and also only use them at bosses if you can. ANother thing I do is spam kill units for lives so as to have 9 lives

Good advice, but try not to double-post whenever possible.

Another good peice of MM5 advice. If you need to fill up on stuff like lives and weapon energy, go to GravityMan\'s stage and find one of those red liquid-dripping canisters in a place where you can stand next to it and the drops are falling on the ground. With some decent timing, you can rapid fire at the tiny red dots and collect tons of energy and weapon refills, as well as the occassional extra life.

Not Dr. C, but I think I can answer your question!
Rockman was renamed Megaman in transfer most likely for the reason that Rockman just didn\'t sound that appealing to overseas audiences. The name Rockman simply comes from the line of musical puns the series puts in its names (examples: Blues-Protoman, Beat, Tango, Bass-Forte, Rock and Roll )
