How do you make a message board site? I have seen many people have ones and i want to know how to make one so please tell me anything about it.

Proboards is ok
You can set custom Av\'s, smilies, userranks, and other stuff, but I\'m gonna try php....

Hyperboards...Its great for people not willing to part with their cash.
I use it for my Board...Why don\'t you?:)

1) Free, no server required, has ads and banners:

You can buy this product too if you don\'t want any banners or ads. It\'ll want a fews things though. Just go to its download section and it\'ll tell you what you need. This is the one I\'m using to make the Megaman board

I would say to make a messageboard at http://www.bbfree.com because you can upload a skin and it only costs 25 bucks to get rid of the banners

I\'m using Proboards. I am going to add some modifications to make it look cool. Oh and BBFree is not good because you need to rely on their server and it might shut down. Only good way I know is to download Invision Power Board or something then find a host. www.50free.com is good except they are down...

I use EZboards myself. It\'s not that bad.

another good host LINK REMOVED its a great host thats not down but you have to have a site with the forum thats were they had everything capcom but its gone because there was no site

Well proboards is when you can put pictures and stuff on it.

try invisionfree, well forgot the address, but that\'s good as hyperboards and proboards, but hyperboards is better I think.

Besides, no matter what you use, it takes time to learn and effort to build to get your board far and make it good. I mean, Doc spent like what, 10 years on IO so far? Yeah. (Doesn't mean he works like 24/7 on it, but 10 years of experience obviously starts to mean something at some point. :P)
