Yeah, that's the fifth time you'll find him, the fourth is in the furnuce Comp. where you can get through ACDC area 3, talk to the girl.

the fifth time you find him he'll give ya AntiDamage *, great for Shadow Soul and Body Guard PA! sadly enough, bodyguard only does 70 HP damage around 10 times...

That's disappointing. Bodygrd was one of the greatest PA's ever. Then, in bn 4, they changed it from 18 attacks of 100 to 8 attacks of 100. Then, in bn 5, they changed it again to 10 attacks of 70. That’s one of the reasons why bn 4 and 5 were so bad. Also airhoc2-3 were taken out in bn5. airhoc1 is slow and you cant get a chain of them going because there is a pause between attacks. Bn 2 and 3 were the better seeing that you could attack faster, and chips & PA’s were a lot stronger.

Anyway, back on topic, I ACCIDENTALLY found all of the hide and seek places. I was just going around looking for hp memorys (still missing one). But the antidmg* was good. (doesn’t bn2’s antidmg do 3 shots???)

Note: I traded in bn5 for bn2…

If you mean the storyline and gameplay overall seen, yes. But BN4 had it's points: Souls, Bosses, Duo, Side Quests, the GDS chips, and Django!

True, but some points were just better than others. I think bn2 had the best point. It was all mainly about gospel. Bn3 is close to it with most of it being about WWW and alpha.

But in bn4, it was all just tournaments, and lan knows nothing about the asteroid until the end of the game.

In bn5, they are just chasing Nebula… even in the beginning. It get’s boring after a while… especially with those liberation battles…

Not all games, only 4 and 5. That is:
Souls, GDS chips, Django (BN4 only! ).

Good points for ALL BN games:
Bosses, including End Bosses (Duo!), Side Quests (after the storyline's finished).

well, there are django chips in bn5...

But, I think the worst sub-quest was in bn4... you just go through black earth, and end up fighting your dark soul...

But, there was that part where you get to fight Bass in undernet 5. Still, it had no point! Bn 3 was better. You go through the secret net to fight serenade and then you get warnings of a huge power in secret net 3... Then you fight bass gs... also, you go through serenades time trials.... it's just better.

Yes, BN3 is better at a lot of points compared to BN4. But the side Quests was also kinda fun, though the point was... unexplained... it had no reason...

Well, in bn3, the point of the main story was just to do that tournament and watch wily end up with all the tetra codes (havent you noticed that lan almost never finds out the major problem till near the end???)

But, the point for the secret area is to get rank1 from serenade... also, serenade kicks butt. He and bass fought for days, I dont remember the outcome...

That one was actually a tie, but Serenade got out of it in a slightly better condition. Also Serenade's a he in the US version and a she in the Japanese one, and I use the Japanese version on these things
(and NO, Harpuia is a male in both versions, for those of you who wanted to ask that)

I agree with you on the part that Lan never figures things out til the beginning of the end of the storyline.

What's really cool, BTW, in BN3, is that after you've beaten BassGS, Lan's talking about taking over the Net! It would be awesome if he ever did... :D

Oh, then I think I remember lan saying something like that. I havent played bn3 for about a year. Im playing it now, but I still have to collect all the standard chips to fight serenade.

Bn5, I hated that game. The liberation battles sucked and only pissed you off... and the whole point was to chase down nebula. Also, nebula grey was ridiculously easy. Even when he had 4000hp. I think the hardest challenge in there was bass. He was really upgraded in bn4. I loved it. I'd rather stick with bn2 or 3... they are more original and fun.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off.

Yeah, they are more original, I hope BN6's story is better. Bass was different in BN4 and 5, yeah, but the aura was gone. And Nebby 4000 HP? Ooh, gotta see... but he was kind of easy, yeah. And instead of playing through BN3 entirely, you can also look on one of those 'game ending screenshots'-sites.

Well, Im not going to get bn6 after what capcom did to bn5. That was ridiculous. I never really liked the souls that much either because you can only keep them for 3 turns.

But, when you add too many small things to a game, it just makes it more confusing and alot less fun. In bn2 it was just plain out simple. Styles... But when you get to bn3, you get more styles and a navi cust. Then in bn4, you have the souls and the navi cust and now dark chips. In bn5, you have all of that, plus chaos soul unison, plus the liberation battles Plus you must trade or buy the dark chips. So, they are just going to add more crap to bn6...

to true but if we had all given up after bn1 then well we may have never tried bn2 and 3

I never said anything about giving up on bn1. I havent even played it. Besides, it's the first of the whole series, so you wouldnt know if it had too much or too little because there wasnt anything to compare it with. But after seeing bn2 before bn1, I see that bn1 isnt that good because the chips dont have letters, and there are no style changes.

Y'know, if you're not sure if you'll buy BN6, make a group of your kind, and the one of you who's most eager to buy it buy's it, and tells the others if it's a great game. You can also just listen to those on this forum about their opinion after they played it. I'm going to get it, no matter what, I started playing with BN4, then 5 then 3 then 1 and 2. I haven't finished those last two, but since most people think BN4 was the worst (they probably know the series since #1, I was introduced to it by a friend), I think they shouldn't stop, or maybe just for a few years after BN6. I didn't think BN4 was that great, but not too awful either, since it was my first. I will tell you the details on BN6 (well, not the details, but I'll guive you guys hints about it in spoilers). That way, you may still end up with BN6 in your hands...

Well, I heard BN6 was the final game of the series. If you've seen the end of BN5, you'd think it ends there. Im surprised it went into 6.

Ill ask someone who played the game about it... and have them compare it to the previous games... then Ill judge. But there is a short list of games that Im getting BEFORE bn6... if I decide to get it. There's zero 4, and megaman x collection... but if I havent picked a game after I have both of those, Ill get bn6 just for fun.

Yeah, do that. I'm expecting alot better work on BN6 than there was on BN5. Still, I mustn't keep my hopes too high. Capcom's starting to screw the games when they turn out to be a succesful series. But it can't get that much worse, according to many of you, can it?

Yah people! Keep the hope alive! Create, Capcom! For everlasting gaming!

Anyway, I was wondering, which Navis have 'Ultimate Programs'? I thought MegaMan, ProtoMan and Bass, as it said somewhere on Rockman-exe.com, but a friend said that only Bass and Mega had them. Clarification here please.

It depends on what you follow, the anime might be different to the games. However in the games it is only Bass and Megaman as they are the "chosen ones" the only navis to wield gigafreeze.
