I know this is really late in reply but I basically just got here so that's my excuse.

Anyways for Megaman and Bass, Perfect King's weakness is the Wave Burner. It's almost impossible to hit him with it but if you do, it knocks down his health so fast. I remember randomly trying out the weapons.

And when fighting the regular king (jumping around using an axe), you can kill him very cheaply by equipping the energy conserver and Lightning Bolting him to death. This will only work if you have full weapon energy on Lightning Bolt.

I don't understand why you feel bad.

Anyways, for Megaman 7 (which I haven't played in a long time) you're supposed to use the electric bolt weapon on his hopping skull form and then use the ice weapon when he's teleporting around. His charged homing fist works on the teleporting form as well.

I happen to have Rockman 3 to 6 for the PSX, so I can help. I don't remember all of the details though. Give me a few days, and I'll check to make sure I give correct answers. I can already reply on two points, though:

3) As far as I know, there's no way to transfer the data. I have all the sames on the same memory card too, but that never changed anything. Since the games have different enemies, I don't think it would be possible.

4) You get some "Battle Data" every time you defeat enemies while playing (remember to save before quitting), just like you gain experience in RPGs. If I remember right, you can view from the enemy database how much Battle Data you gain by defeating one. After a while of playing, you'll unlock the other options in Dr. Light's lab.

Gee... asking for help on games really isn't my style... :(
Ok, I just got the Anniversary collection but I figure it's more original series than anything else. I have almost beaten 1 and 2, so I have all the weapons on both (don't clap, Easy mode :P). Now, I go to Dr.Wily's castle and, wheter it's after the annoying platform puzzle later into the stage where they fly around over and under spikes, as in MM1, or at the beginning of MM2 just after the part with the birds, a constant theme remains. I get to a part where it's too high to jump! The first part is after climbing a ladder, and the second is in front of a rectangular grey thing with a symbol saying "Dr. W" on it. Does anybody have any tips on this? It really burns me up that I get all the way to his castle and his stupid high walls beat me.

In Mega Man 1, you need to use the extra weapon that's hidden in Elec Man's stage. If you don't have it yet, you need it before going further. Hint: it's hidden behind blocks that can be removed with Guts Man's power.

In Mega Man 2, you need to use one of the three items to jump from the bottom right to the top left. I don't remember what's the number of the item, but it's the one floating slowly up when you use it. You need to use quickly three or four of those to make the large jump.

Hehe... thanx Doc. Just before I checked here, I mangaged to figure out how to use Item 1 (odd as it sounds, wasn't rush in that game ), but I would have never guessed the Megaman 1 thing.
I managed to beat Megaman 3 and 4 now I think... can't remember where I was stuck on 2 now...

Sure thing, since it's a package made of games that are all part of the original series!

I can get this one!

Auto's workshop is like any ordinary store, It gets more inventory as time progresses. Beat a few bosses first, and eventually, Auto will have some cool upgrades for you.

Also, I know a trick to getting plenty of bolts. It takes a little time and effort, but you can get almost infinite bolts just by standing still! Go back to AstroMan's stage, and get to the area where the enemies are jumping out of the wall with the shadows running across the screen. Find a large platform to stand on and kill off the enemies as they appear. Like I said, getting the bolts takes a while, but it's easy, and you can get the max of 999! I use this trick when I see a part in Auto's shop that I want, but can't get. :D

EDIT:

I'm also reading a lot of complaints about beating King's final form... Man, you guys are lucky to have me here! Since I played the game, and actually discovered some VERY easy ways to beat him!

As MegaMan-

MegaMan is obviously in no condition whatsoever to reach King's head from all the way down on the floor, so take advantage of the lift that's moving up and down along the wall just above the door you came through. use this to fire charge-shots at the glass bubble with King's head inside. When King opens the laser on the giant mech's chest, toss a remote mine at it and blow it to peices. The Copy-Vision works just as well. Once the crystal is destroyed and the laser attack avoided, return to the lift and continue firing at King's head. When King shoots the bombs into the air, standing underneath the lift may seem like a good idea, but remember that if the lift is low to the ground, the shockwaves can still blast through and hurt you, so make sure not to stay under there when the lift is low or descending. King also has an attack where he sends an annoying little white orb that follows you around. You can destroy this with your shots, but it takes a while.

As Bass-

In all honesty, aiming isn't necessary at all! In fact, all you have to do is double-jump and you can reach king's head with a normal forward-firing shot. The trick is to dash before you jump, since dashing increases the height of your jump by just enough so that your second jump will allow you to open fire at king's head. Aside from that, do things like you would as MegaMan, use the Remote Mine or the Copy Vision to destroy the red crystal on King's chest when it prepares to fire. And destroy the white orb with your buster shots. Now, when you play as Bass, there is no lift on the left wall for you to hide under, so the best you can do is dodge, or use the Lightning Bolt to avoid damage, which makes you invincible for the short time that you're using it.

Hope that helps!

What the... Who on EARTH told you to use the Fire-Storm on IceMan!? XD No offense, but unless the guy has tried it himself, he shouldn't tell you that.

Now, IceMan's REAL weakness is the Thunder-Beam. Which you get from ElecMan. If you have any more Robot-Master weakness questions, feel free to ask me! I know them ALL!

MM2 trick: On the first fortress stage, know those birds? Well, equip Leaf Shield and stay somwwhere. the eggs will break and the tiny birds fly, stay, then the birds will hit the shield, and turn into items! Repeat it until you`re bored. I managed to get 20 lives and a lot of life and weapon recharge capsules.

Magic Man: One-word: TENGU! Use Tengu Blade. AstroMan: Crap! Not AstroMan! You don`t have Homing Sniper, he does`nt have AstroCrush.. use Magic Card to stop his Copy Vision. DynamoMan: Copy Vision, and FAST to stop him from recharging his life.

That's pretty good. Just remember these few things.

ColdMan- Just for the record, ColdMan's weakness is the Lightning Bolt. In Wily's fortress, as Bass, hit ColdMan with this weapon, then immediately plaster him with your rapid-fire, holding the button down. Your rapid-fire shots will eventually kill him off, since ColdMan remains in his paralyzed state as you fire away. It's a little harder for MegaMan, since he doesn't have Rapid Fire, so you have to continuously hit the attack button VERY fast.

BurnerMan- You can only use the Ice-Wall to push him into the spikes when he's trying to torch you with his Wave-Burner. And only when he's on the ground. If he jumps, the Ice won't push him. Both feet must be firmly planted on the ground. So wait until he jumps, plant the ice-wall, then shove it towards him as he touches the ground. The Ice-Wall should reach him a mere second after he lands. Also, BurnerMan won't fall into the spikes if he's too far offscreen. Keep BurnerMan where you can see him once the Ice-Wall starts moving.

PirateMan- Though the Wave-Burner doesn't work underwater, the steam it creates can still damage PirateMan. You especially want to hit him when he encases himself in a bubble to do his "Bounce around the room" attack, since the Wave-Burner will knock him out of it.

GroundMan- To get the BEST effect out of the Remote Mines, attatch them to GroundMan, but don't detonate them yourself! When GroundMan tries to go underground, or up into the ceiling, the mines will detonate on their own, surprising GroundMan and making him flinch, Do this to keep GroundMan from going into the ground.

TenguMan- If you keep hitting him with the Spread Drill, you don't have to worry about his dives and other attacks, since you'll basically knock him down with every hit. For best results, split the drill completely and hit him with the smaller drills.

MagicMan- When you use the Tengu Blade, hit him with the initial slice, instead of the projectile spinning white thing. MagicMan'll go all to peices.

AstroMan- AstroMan's a tough fight, even if you DO have the Magic Card. Remember that Using the card can make AstroMan pause for a second, so take advantage of this to slide under him or get away from where he's moving. Also, you can use the Magic Card to destroy his copies that attack you.

DynamoMan- If you're playing as Bass, it's a lot easier to destroy DynamoMan. When DynamoMan's recharging, just stand below the two peices of the recharger and fire straight up. As MegaMan, Go up to one side, and plant a Copy to fire at one side, while you go to the opposite end of the room to destroy the other side. Also, the Copy-vision does a lot more than extra damage, you can use the copy to lure DynamoMan's tracking electric-balls away from you!

Wily in MM6: Whenever he jumps around in his machine, slide past him and avoid his blue orb attacks. Repeatedly strike him with the Mega Buster. Do this for both his forms. Then his 3rd form shows dissapears and reappears. Use TomahawkMan's weapon on this form to easily beat him. He shoots out 4 blue orbs (one in each direction, up, down, left and right). Stand close to Wily's machine as it'll be easier to avoid the orbs that way.

Wily in MM4: His weakness is Charged up Pharaoh Shots. Whenever you see an orb attack being ready to strike you, Wily will show up shortly after. When you've avoided the attack, quickly throw a charged up Pharaoh Shot at Wily's direction. Keep this up and he'll go down in no time.

Actually, with Wily in MM4, you don't even have to release the charged Pharaoh Shot, you can hit him with it while it's still above your head. Not only is it easier, but it doesn't waste any energy!

Yes, I'm aware of that too. Sometimes you'd also like to hit him when he's in lower heights than you, so you can strike him with a diagonal throw downwards if you like to do so. I knew about the energy saving trick though. ^^

Wily PinBot: Ohh, boy, use left-over Shadow Blade energy, and dodge the bubbles (?) from the cannon.

Wily PinBot, take 2: Now, use the Rush Jet to get to the cock-pit and pepper Wily with shots.

Gamma, take 1: Use Hard Knuckles on that small top-head (?, its so hard to aim.) time the Knuckles, remember you can control its straight flight with up and down.

Gamma, take 2:Wily lands on the GutsMan look-alike's head, same energy meter, nonetheless, use Search Snakes (?) to do [b] intense damage!!!

Now, it helps, get your Gamma smashing into high-gear!
