You need to bat gospel

In other words, you need to beat the game...or get a certain number of chips.
But thats for another star.
There are 5 you know...

I think these are the stars:
1:Beat Gospel
2:Beat bass for real;)
3:Get All 250 chips
4:Get all the cheat chips(that's what I call them)
5: I forgot

The fourth star is all program advances and the fifth star is special chips

How do you beat Shadowman, knightman, magnetman, and protoman at busting level S? I need them to pass a barrier in the WWW area.

For shadow man you should first use a fire chip cause he's standing on grass and use chips that have a wide area of damage so you know they'll always hit or use a prism,For knightman use strong chips that do 150 or more cause he has stonebody so you have many times to hit him. Use wood element chips againtst magnetman or use areagrab and woodguts v3. for protoman I used elecball, Aquaball, and heatball to beat him.

You know strangely enough, some people think that .Hack IS part of the BattleNetwork series...even though they do share similer concepts they arent so much alike to make me mistake one for the other. I wonder why people always confuse the two...

2)With some enemies, you can only attack them after they attack

3) the only trouble with bosses isfighting Beastman because he is very fast, and you can only hit him during a small margin of time then he moves.

I asume you mean the Gospel Duplication trick? It is used to...well...duplicate!
to use it do the fallowing.

You may have realised that when you beat Gospel that you keep all the chips and zenny you acquired on the way to him but that you restarted where you last saved, not in the room with gospel. However you problobly did not notice that the game does not save the other actions you did, such as completing ONB request, and collecting chip data. You can take advantige of this by doing as fallows...

-Decide what you want to duplicat, and for this we will use the guy who gives you 100,000 zenny for a "catcher H(?)".

- Save the game JUST befor you talk to the man who gives you the money.

-talk to him

-Cha-Ching!

-do not save!!!

-Go defeat Gospel (the one in the apartment not the one on the net)

-You shold restart infront of the man, but he will not have given you the money...or has he?

-Check your Zenny, and it should be 100,00 higher.

- Save the game

-Talk to him again

-He'll give you 100,000 more!

-This is because the game saves the items you recieve, but not the action you take. This can be done with things such as Blue Mstery data aswell.

I think hes talking about MMBN1. Just go the the sides and you'll go to another area. I know im not a member but hell..

when you come out of the subway go to your left and it should take you to another block then go up and then the store will be in the upper left hand corner I think.

You kjnow in MMBN2 where you have to find that bug on the request list, where's the rare bug? Which town/place is it in?

You mean the Denbeetle right? Go to Okuden and talk to the bug guy and keep pressing the A button where ever theres water in Okuden.
