Depends on which version you have. Is it BN2 or BN3?

protoman is also in mbn1, and to beat him ,I would use chips like punisher or ones that paralyze. also one of my good strategies is using a grass stage or line with a fire-based navi. and if your really lucky, you can plant a time bomb or meteor staff and he won't touch it since he moves around a lot, and whe nhe attacks he usually likes 1-on-1

You get it in undernet 7.First beat flameman all the way to V3 that will unlock the security cube in undernet 6 then give that wolf thing 50 bugfrags and then you can get the hammer!

Snakeman
HP: 900
Snakeman is very special; he will hide in his protective "jar" when you are
standing in the same row as him, and will only come out when you are on other
rows. Also, the second column in his area is chipped away.
Snakeman attacks by sending small snakes that form in the holes to attack you.
If you are standing in the same row as him, you will NEVER be able to damage
him and you will NEVER defeat him. So move to other rows to make him come out.
After coming out for 5 seconds or so, Snakeman will attack you personally, his
attack is either
a) Tilting to one side to bite you (which has 2 ranges)
Firing a series of shots at you

So as you can see, both of them are not hard to avoid, the only problem is the
little snakes that come out from the empty column, they will block your attacks
if you do not destroy them within the time limit.

is there a way to fill up the empty spaces. if so what is the chip

To open Serenades door, you need to earn "a star for collecting fragments of power", or a blue star for getting all 200 regular chips. this will be hard. you'll need either incredibly good luck with the bugfrag trader or the Custom Style, and definately the 4 elemental locator programs. (oilbody, battery, fish, and jungle) Also, I know this probably belongs somewhere else, but since I'm too lazy to check and see if there's a question for it or not, I'll just tell you all. The custom style, when you get it, says that you have to beat viruses without using chips or a buster. this isn't a typo. you have to use area-based chips, or ones that don't directly damage the enemy. (examples: blackbombs, plasmas, maybe geysers) also, you have to have custom style, and you have to beat Metaur3, Fishy2, and Volcanest for the special chips.

My forte, here. the scuttlest viruses, if you're talking about the virus breeder type, are a bit hard to find. the first 3 are to the left when you go into secret area 1. they're not in the corner, but around that area. just keep looking. the other 2 are in Sercret Area 3, down the right compression path to the dead end. DrillMan V2 should be in Undernet 6, behind the bugfrag program trader. I cant find V3. BubbleMan V2 is in yoka, on a compressed path. you make a left, then take the right fork to a dead end. He's somewhere in there. V3 should be in Beach area, where Gutsman was attacked by the mob. (cant remember which area that is). Very Important!!! you must have less than 25% of your HP to find the sudsy navi in V3!!! Finally, IceBall M can be found on Hades Isle or in Secret 1. Use Fish to find it on Hades Isle, in the first place you jacked in at. Hope that helped people!:D

Drillman V3 is inside of the netbattling machine at Hades Isle, you'll run into him randomly. ;D
