I kinda like it. Think about it. At first, there was one Mega Man. With the Zero series, and now ZX, the whole story has ascended from "Mega Man, the robot" to "Mega Man, the idea". We don't need a Mega Man to fight for what's right and for great justice. We can take the mantle up ourselves, and honor the ideals of Mega Man as we fight for the same things he used to fight for.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it's about times the humans learned to defend themselves, eh? Mega Man clearly can't be around forever, but we can fight to honor him.
How do you explain Trigger and Juno then?
I don't. Because they suck. Also, Legends came out before Zero and ZX, and thus, still within the "Mega Man, the robot" idea.
Logic does not matter, for Trigger, he is the suck. Therefore, he does not exist in my United States of Whatever.
Okay, let's begin the list of people that will begin pwning HD when they read this comment from him.
-Breakman
-Juno
-Aimman (IOekaki)
Anyone care to keep the list moving?
I don't really care if I offend Juno or Breakman. AimMan, maybe. He seems cool.
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
Storyline update:
According to Atomic Fire, this game takes place several years after the climatic showdown between Vent/Aile and Model W. An illegal hunter has excavated Biometal Model A, said to be the strongest of Biometals, as it accumulates experience with each battle.
14yo Grey wakes up in an abandoned lab and is confronted by Pandora, who says he is a failed Mega Man and is there to dispose of him. She sends a battle machine after him, he escapes with a fallen hunter's gun.
15yo Ashe is chasing after the illegal hunter, who is air-transporting Model A. She bumps into Prometheus, who has the same goals and calls her a hindrance. Ashe challenges him but is quickly defeated.
These are where Model A steps in, as it responds to the voices of the protagonists as the two Model W Mega Men corner them. That's it for storytime. In the way of gameplay, it's not much different. Grey and Ashe can fight when not Megamerged, and Model A will presumably gain a number of new shot attacks, although all that's been revealed are his homing shots and the charged shot.
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
Or Prometheus and Pandora still control a contingent of the old Slither, Inc. army.

Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
So far, the only really negative vibe about this game I'm getting is that they are making such a cool character like Gray wear short-shorts. -__-
Look on the bright side--Ashe isn't wearing any shorts.
But Ashe, on the other hand, is wearing a much thicker shirt than Gray. They balance out, I suppose.
Yay for female protagonists! >.>
Also,
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'

That's actually a Turn A symbol, better known as ∀.

So...what, the bad guy for Advent is the Principality of Zeon?
I swear to God, if Master Asia comes out of one of the giant boss machines, I'm gonna God Finger his ass back to G Gundam.
He's just annoyed that Master Asia whupped on Dio for a while.
But alas, we are off-topic. Has anyone found out anything new?
Not really-they both died at the end, right? Though my natural bias determines Dio to be the winner should they actually fight.
Apparently the boss rewards in ZXA is not a new gun or something, but the ability to take on the form of the boss itself.
