Besides Mega Man games, what other games are you a big fan of? I personally have always enjoyed Castlevania and Metroid games.

I make a better listing once I get back from work.

Became a huge fan of the Super Robot Wars series in the last 4 years. I also play King of Fighter (can't wait for KoF XII), Metal Gear Solid, G Generation, F-Zero (nintendo needs to release another one. only reason I'd get a Wii) and others.

Tried to get into Guilty Gear, but everyone I know has been playing since day 1 and take pleasure in destroying me everytime we play (and whine everytime I beat them at any other fighting games...heh). Doesn't really motivate me to get any better.

I am highly considering on collecting the Soul Caliber games, for the PS2 that is. I have number 3, but thats it.

I really miss playing that Contra games though.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Well, for me, I like tons of games, really. Kingdom Hearts series, Legend of Zelda series, later Final Fantasy (7 through 10-2) series, and the Sonic series are all games I've enjoyed. I'm also guilty of enjoying the Armored Core series ever since I picked up Master of Arena, but that's just the mecha fan in me talking. Ratchet and Clank, Star Fox, BloodRayne, Morrowind, and Half-Life have also taken my fancy.

I think that's the best reply we'll see in this topic... :)

On my end, I can name the following series. I'm not getting into individual games to keep this relatively short:
- Super Mario (of course)
- Sonic (yes, many of the recent games are still good)
- Castlevania (mostly in the Metroid-like format)
- Metroid (heh!)
- Star Wars: X-Wing series (TIE Fighter might be the game I played the most)
- Monster Truck Madness (so many online races...)
- Kirby (squishy pink fun)
- Star Fox (love the characters and gameplay)
- Donkey Kong (the post-NES games)
- Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior!!)
- Final Fantasy (SNES and PSX-era games only)
- SimCity (and now I'll --- disaster again?!)
- Chrono Trigger + Chrono Cross (two games = series)
- Age of Empires (build then destroy!)

I think that sums it up...

Oh boy, oh boy! More nerdom appendaging!

> Super Mario (Bros, Worlds, the RPGs, the 3-D games)
> The Legend of Zelda (surprise)
> Metroid (the 2-D and Prime series)
> Super Smash Bros. Series (Brawl is okay. Melee was better.)
> Final Fantasy (naturally)
- Kingdom Hearts
- Chrono Trigger and Cross
- Secret of Mana (the only game I've played in the series, yup)
> Breath of Fire Series (Never played Dragon Quarter, and I don't intend to)
> Resident Evil (0,1,4)
> Silent Hill
> Sonic (mostly from the Genesis era. The Adventure games aren't bad either, minus the whole cartoony hedgehog meets real life scenario)
> Donkey Kong Country Series (hell yes)
> Contra (Only played the first, Super C and Alien Wars and I like em all)
>Double Dragon (the first, the second and w/Battletoads
> Kirby (Only played Adventure for the NES, and I played Dream Land for the GB and Crystal Shards for the N64 a long time ago, and I really liked them.)

I'm sure I'm missing some. Don't even worry about it.

I don't own a NES, but some games that I greatly enjoyed during my childhood.

Breath of Fire - all games
Zelda - more specific, NES and SNES titles.
Astyanax - NES game
Fauxanadu - NES
TMNT - All titles, for all systems, I have played and beat. But I don't own any.
Friday the 13th - the very first title was for the NES, I truely miss playing that game.
Crystalis - For a chick game, it's quite enjoyable.

What other games am I a big fan of? Well, er. Now there's a question.

Legend of Zelda, Metroid and non-PS FF games mostly. Oh, and the Age of RTS stuff.

HAHA I AM BACK YOU MOTHERS!

So anyways, yes. Games I am extremely passionate about.

-Shadow of the Colossus: Just...hot damn. This game is just amazing. Landscapes and battles are both epic.
-Metroid series: I've been into it when I was a kid and had an NES. Metroid was hard as hell back then but I was so fond of it.
-Pokemon Blue and Red: The quirks of this game make me love it so much, from the glitches to the ALL CAPS mode. Childhood favorite!
-American McGee's Alice: Frustrating at times, but the story is wonderfully dark and so very nightmarish. Tells a story after Through The Looking Glass, where Alice is in a mental institution. Wonderland calls...
-Lucasarts Adventure Games: Man, Sam and Max, Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, and Day of the Tentacle were all classics and were funny, before they decided to be dicks and fire all of the funny guys. Check these games out, get SCUMMvm and get playing!

Those are the more of the ones I didn't see. Fan of Zelda and Mario, too, as well as the DBZ games for some inane reason.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Not really. All of my half-siblings were much, much older than me and I didn't really know any of them. Hell, never even spoke to them until I was about 18 and older. They don't have a good relationship with my family, so I'm not really missing out on anything. As for the miscarried siblings, well, I only found out about that recently, so I don't know what I should be feeling about that.

Uh, my favorite sport is Gaming... am I honestly the only human here who can honestly say that?

Mary-Elizabeth: Croft wrote a book in which she relates that, while she was working as a nurse for 30 years, she never saw anyone die from cancer but she saw a very large amount of people die from the treatments for it. In other words, PILLZ R BAD. Supplements are alright, but they usually add stuff. I wouldn't feel safe with a "multivitamin". Calcium supplements, or something like it, are probably okay.

The only movie series I own that I can remember is Scream, but I'd rather have it traded for Scary Movie. My mother does have Friday the 13th (as well as the other two related ones and 596 other movies), which I watched in one day. It took around 11 hours, I think - Lord of the Rings full versions is/are longer.

My favorite game series is, as far as I know, Zelda, although the more recent ones haven't been so great. And you shouldn't assume everyone here likes MegaMan - I do, but didn't join because of it, and on the other message board I was a main member of for a time, it was themed around Yu-Gi-Oh! (the series) but many members didn't even like anime at all. Also Fire Emblem and Breath of Fire. Hmm, maybe Fire Emblem comes first.

RD, you said, "I found out about miscarried siblings recently," - nothing really to feel about it at all, I mean you can if you "want" to obviously, but there is nothing you "should" be feeling - as ever, in most cases, but in any case you weren't there when you're mom was expecting so I don't know why you should feel anything about it.

I have two sisters who we thought were not related to each other until about 3 years ago, and one brother who I've never met. My sisters are 20 and 14 (I'm 23). That also makes me an only child but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing - probably good since they like my 14-year-old sister better. Confusion for pplz = YAY.
