I guess my first post should be the reason why I\'m here. The other day, I borrowed the Megaman Collection (for PS2, which ROCKZ!!), and I was playing mm7. I uhh :cry: can\'t get the proto man shield. I have the RUSH plates, and I went to both Cloud Man\'s stage, and Turbo\'s, and when I get to the point that I have to enter his room in Shademan\'s stage, I go in, and nothing happens. do I need the powerbalancer? Btw, I did beat all the bosses. Can someone help me? If I do need the PB, where is it? And, is there a difference to the super rocket arm? What, does it go faster or something? Should I buy it? Can I find it somewhere?

Help is appreciated.

Well, I have recently just bought the Megaman Anniversary Collection and was doiung fine with Megamans 3,4,6. However I cannot get to Turbo Man. You know in Megaman II where those lasers shoot out from the wall and kill you on impact. Well, that is my complication in MM7 in Turbo Man\'s stage. I know there probably isn\'t any form of writing that may be able to help because Anyway, if you think you will be able to help me on the Turbo Man Stage please do it. Thank You. I will try to help you guys with your problems in Megaman games while I am waiting for a response

Built to resemble the Native Americans of centuries ago, Tomahawk Man follows up his basic programming to be knowledgeable and wise about their beliefs as well. His original function was akin to a ranger of the plains but the destruction of the land made him bitter about the lack of respect given by outsiders. His weapon of choice is his silver tomahawk, an axe head grafted onto the end of his right arm. He can use it to fire axe blades of energy at his opponents, and can also pull shrapnel feathers from his headdress to throw like daggers. Tomahawk Man's priorities sometimes get mixed up -- he'll fire a warning shot at someone chopping down a tree before an attacking enemy. His dislike of those that would destroy nature can extend to his fellow Master brothers, but he tries to make his dislike known vocally instead of by action.

That is difficult to do. You just have to time it right. Make sure tha tyou\'re not using the rush adapter. You need the power to slide. Plus, if you have the MMC, you should have a button that let\'s you slide outright, without havng to press down B or something. Maybe I shouldn\'t say this, but your sig is way too big, I thought I was reading your post when I realized that it was just a super sig.

Nevermind, I should have said I did it anyway 1 1/2 weeks ago. Turbo Man was a little challenging though. By the way, to get the prot shiled in Shade Man\'s stage after you defeat the pumpkin go down, the level with the one SNiper Joe, go past him and go through the wall.

GOD is that one a toughy. YOu have to hit the snowman\'s head in order to damage him. It\'s hard with Forte since you can\'t charge up your shots to do more damage when you\'re not dodging, which is often. X_x Use the dash to keep away when he\'s sucking in, and never stand still when he\'s jumping around. The mini Snowmen can be destroyed with just a few shots.

In MM7, after you defeat Dr. Wily\'s giant skull walker robot, what\'s a good way to defeat that flying skull thing with the spikes that shoots out those elmental balls of energy? The only two aquired weapons that work are the springs and the freeze crystals, and neither seem to work very well.:conf:

Practice. Practice practice practice. I prefer to use the ice-based weapon, since you can aim it. Make sure that it\'s full before starting the final part of the battle, since you\'ll need it all to finish Wily off.

Also, if you KNOW you won\'t be able to dodge the next set of energy balls, try to be hit by a yellow one. It does a bit less damage, and it doesn\'t stop you from moving as the fire and ice attacks do.

Go with Astro Man\'s weapon, Astro Crush. It won\'t finish him off, but it will deal some serious damage as well as stoping him from using his water attack.

The trick is that you have to visit the ProtoMan rooms in a certain order. First see him in CloudMan\'s stage, then go to TurboMan\'s stage, then FINALLY, you go to the room in ShadeMan\'s stage, where you fight him and get his sheild.

It doesn\'t really matter, since MegaMan-8 is a bit different from the others. You see, usually, MegaMan games have a set pattern you can follow for beating the bosses. (They\'re called \"Robot Masters\", by the way.) Like, for instance, MegaMan-1\'s pattern is like so.

BombMan-GutsMan-CutMan-ElecMan-IceMan-FireMan

And then it goes back to BombMan, who is weak against fire. But MegaMan 8, instead of having one chain of weaknesses, has TWO.

GrenadeMan-FrostMan-TenguMan-ClownMan

Then it goes back to GrenadeMan, who\'s grenades you can hurl back by hitting them with the Thunder Claw.

And then we have,
AquaMan-SwordMan-SearchMan-AstroMan

And it goes back to AquaMan who can be killed off if you use up ALL the Astro-Crush. (Yeah, you\'ll want to make sure it\'s full when you fight him.)

Usually, I start with SwordMan, since he\'s a bit easier.

Pathetic but true, I cannot beat Megaman 1. I can get up to the final Wily Level, but I always get killed by the Gutsman Rehash. It\'s Fireman that always gets me. I can\'t avoid his attacks! Can anyone help me, please?

P.S: I cannot use the select glitch, because I am using Anniversary Collection for PS2.

That\'s not pathetic, it\'s one of the hardest part of the Mega Man series as far as I\'m concerned... The only tips I can give you: be sure to know which weapon is the most effective against each boss, and learn to dodge their attacks. You really need to avoid pretty much all of them to survive.

THe only advice I can give you are their weaknesses. GutsMan is weak to the Hyper Bomb, which is hard to aim anyways so you\'re probably better off just going full-fire with the megabuster. As far as FireMan is concerned, use the Ice Slasher. Fire it at him fast and continueously and hopefully have him dead before he can deal too many hits to you.

AstroMan is weak against the Search Missile. Charge it up to send him into an all-out panic! Also, if you want to avoid his Astro Crush, stand right under him. \"But he\'s invisible\", you say? Use the Flash Bomb, let it detonate on any wall and the area will flash for a breif amount of time. During that time you should be able to easily spot AstroMan during the flash.

The thing that always made me mad was how Dr. Wiley In Megaman 5 could only be really damaged by the megabuster....but the most annoying and hard boss to beat was Sigma in MMX
I still cant beat him. I even got that Error Hyduken thing at Armored Armadillo But it Wouldn\'t hit him
And after you kill one of him he has like what is it 2 other forms?

For having such a simple attack pattern, Sigma is surprisingly difficult to defeat. That\'s mostly because you have to be very fast.

Start by going part way up a wall. Sigma bounds from wall to wall in much the same way as his dog did. When on the ground, Sigma will attack by shooting ray bursts from his head or rushing toward you swinging his sabre. Most likely though, he will start bounding. You don\'t have to charge your X-buster because no amount of charging will take more than one line from him, but you can to increase your chances of hitting him. If you want to take more energy from him with each hit, use electric spark. The drawback is, it is more difficult to hit him because spark is not very fast. I would personally recommend X-buster. Theaction you should take depends upon the starting point of Siggy\'s jump. If he starts away from you and then jumps to your wall, he will hit and then jump up to the pposite wall. When he does, you can drop to the ground and be ready to fire at him when he returns. If he jumps from right up against the wall, you will have to drop and dash under him to the other side before he lands. This iswhere you must be so fast, because any stalling could embed his boot in your skull. Keep doing this and shooting him each time he returns to the ground. Every now and then he may vary his jumping pattern and will hit you in spite of your preplanning, but mostly not. And if you don\'t beat him the first time, you have much less chance of beating him the second time because as a rule, bosses are smarter in the second round. Try not to use more than one sub tank on normal Sigma, because, well, it isn\'t over yet. There is a much more horrible
enemy yet to fight.

Sigma is easy... He only has two forms. First off, use the Electric Spark. (Funny that this isn\'t the name of SparkMan\'s weapon, as it\'d fit much better. Oh well.) When he starts jumping on the walls, immediately go over to where he was, as he will usually end up on the opposite side. (I say usually \'cause every once in a blue moon, he\'ll actually come down in the middle, or back where he was, but 99.9% of the time, it\'s the opposite side.) Best time to fire at him is when he\'s jumping, since he can\'t block then. Just do that and you\'ll be fine. If he dashes at you to slice, climb the wall to jump over him. Pretty simple for me.

As for his second form, climb up the walls to get on top of one of his floating claws, then break out the Rolling Sheild and let \'im have it. (It does the most damage) Hop off the claw when it starts to glow (Usually signalling that it\'s about to zap you.), then hop back on and continue pelting. You could try charging up the weapon and ramming yourself at his head to hit him with it, but then you\'d have to climb up the wall all over again, you put yourself in danger of hitting his head yourself, and I don\'t think it really does that much more damage than the regular attack...

This topic is the right one. :) The interview is only available in the GameCube version, since the PS2 one has the first episode of the old Mega Man cartoon instead.
