Maybe Neige then? She makes a bit more sense with the "for the sake of my kind" line than him.
Bingo. I included that line to drive the point that she's working to ensure the future of the human race, which is looking muddy by that point in the story. The last line was a reference to her cameo in the Archie comic.

I was thinking the popping up was just from the fact she was outside Neo Arcadia in general, like in the opening scene. But that line was the reason I guessed Craft first, since he popped in and out of the game a lot more.
Anyway, yay! I have to pass tho. Next time I guess I'll try and have a riddle ready beforehand. Whoever's the first one to post one, it's all yours!

Anyway, as I've had so long to prepare for when I win, this riddle will be abit different. It is 2 parts, but they refer to similar enemies in 2 universes.
1. After you fall through a shaft, your demise I shall be
Falling from the ceiling, my task is to destroy.
Mindless I may be, I shall still be your doom.
I will fall until you do.
Riddle 2
I lay on the path to victory, waiting to defeat.
Touch me and I grab you,
then show you your doom!
Look again, and you shall find me, blocking your way,
Miss me and you pay the price.
Of trying yet again!
If the riddles are answered by 2 different people, then 1st to answer this one wins.

For the first answer, I'm guessing the lowering compressors in Metal Shark Player's stage in X6.
For the second, all I can think of are those floating grabber enemies from Mega Man 9.
What they have in common is that they both drop from above...
