as we all discovered last night, PT's final smash has a secret part to it that was unknown before- it ruins the internet connections of all of those involved after it is activated

Put in the following DNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

That's the server address for "FreeDNS" which is apparently a free-to-use server for faster connections. I just tested it and there's significant improvement. Should help for future smashing.

In your internet settings in the Wii Menu, go to your Connection settings and then click on your specific connection, then change the DNS Server from automatic to manual.

That isn't what I was getting at. The ratings system was made based on use in normal brawls. Since Ivy sucks at any horizontal attacks, and most enemies won't attack you from midair if your on the ground, then Ivy sucks.


He was saying Ivy was good because he could handle bosses, but that argument is null in normal games.

Who seriously attacks specifically horizontally? It's suicide! It's always a jump and diagonal and come down, the down attacks are awesome. Besides, even if you are stupid enough to charge horizontally, a simple grab (extend with Ivy mind you) can latch on and throw you up into the air.

Regardless, Ivysaur is definitely the low point in the Trainer Trio. Weak tether recovery with no lift whatsoever, smash attacks that lack "umph", and several other little quirks. (bullet seed = impractical, and A U-AIR THAT SENDS YOU DOWNWARDS?)

Nah, I just like to overdramatize. I suppose some of the levity of my patterns of speech is lost in text.

But my stance is that if you're going to take interest in something, you might as well learn as much about it as you can. And, armed with this knowledge, I'm merely having an intellectual conversation about said "something" with other like-minded individuals.
