Topic: Megaman ZX Advent
a possible sequel? or a spin off?
Post redacted
I hope you're joking, because if you think that's an actual trailer, you deserve to be struck repeatedly with something blunt and heavy.

I dont doubt that this game is real, but that trailer was absolute trash. Seriously, a poop monster... that alone makes the whole thing a load of crap (no pun intended...).

Wow... its been so long since ive been on here... 04.07.2010
It's definately real.
I can tell, since it had a Phoenix Wright reploid, a rascist joke, and an actual sex scene.
Totally real. Although I'm probably the only one who noticed the Wright bot the first second I saw him. >__>

Anyways...
Apparently while the first Biometal to be seen in Advent is Model A, which uses the Trans On System to take the form of fallen boss enemies, it has been confirmed that five other Biometals will appear in the game. What ones, however, remain to be seen.
Please, please, please bring back Sigma as a Biometal, Capcom. I will forgive you if you do so.
Also, I forgot to mention this before:
Two-player Co-Op and Head-to-Head modes, through the use of two cartridges, and two-player Minigames, through the use of Wi-Fi.
Also, there will be more storyline differences between Gray and Ashe, since Vent and Aile's storylines were nearly identical, and the US version WILL have spoken english dialogue throughout the game, as opposed to the original ZX game having the spoken dialogue removed from the US version.
Source is here.
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
Last I checked, wasn't all multiplayer on the DS through Wi-Fi? I've never seen a transfer cable for the DS.
I'm sure Wi-Fi will be used for the Head-to-head bit, but you'll need your friend to have the game as well. They won't need the game to play the minigames, however.
Don't ask me though, my source didn't give specifics and I don't know much about the workings of the DS beyond inserting games and turning it on.

...
Looks like I fail Handheld Console Technology 101 then.
If its Models Z, H, F, L, and P again, I'd fail to see how Vent/Aile would give them up.

It'd be like:
Model A: Hey, Zero! It's ME! AXL!
Model Z: Oh, for the love of GOD.
Minor update:
Model A has the Giga Crash.
Gray's charge shot is the usual large plasma blast. Ashe's charge shot is a laser beam that reflects off of surfaces.
Gray's homing shot fires multiple homing shots. Ashe's homing shot fires a single shot that acts like chain lightning, jumping from enemy to enemy.
And finally...
Legions, the gov't that controls the world after the aftermath of Mega Man W, is led by three wise men. Their names are:
Master Thomas.
Master Albert.
Master Mikhail.
*coughs*

Meh. I'm probably gonna regret posting this, due to... recent additions to IO. *coughs*
Feast your eyes on this:
At the top, we have the typical cut of Ashe and Gray, our new heroes. Beside them, we have... hmm... is that...? Yes! That's Mega Man ZX. Perhaps Vent and Aile will play an important role in ZXA? Or will they be mentioned only in passing, as Zero was in ZX?
Next, in the middle behind the giant picture of Mega Man A, we have... what is most likely the slew of eight Pseudoroid bosses we'll be fighting.
Next, below we have... that loveable pair, Prometheus and Pandora. But who are those behind them? Can it be...?
Yes.
It is.
From what I can see, don't those look like... Mega Men?
And one of them looks awfully similar to either Seraph Lumine or Seraph Copy X. But another glance at him makes him look like Harpuia! Another looks like Fefnir... hmm... does this mean that all of those Biometals Vent and Aile had have finally found their Chosen Ones? Will we get to see Mega Man H, Mega Man F, Mega Man L, and Mega Man P?
Will we see Mega Man O and Mega Man Σ?
Int'resting stuff.

Figured I'd regret the post.
Catman, had you read the entire thread, you'd know that Mega Man ZX: Advent is a sequel to Mega Man ZX.
Hahahaaaa, double poster, HaaHAAAAAAAAAA! Take that you double poooooooosteeeeeeer!
no, just kidding, you make double posting look cool.

i´ve got a few picture
i would guess the Masters

Evil Oginasation?

The first three are indeed the three wise men. The middle one is Master Thomas, the blue-haired one is Master Albert, and the elderly one is Master Mikhail. Albert's authority is over technology, while Mikhail's authority is over managing information, such as geography and history. Thomas is their strict and serious leader. An interesting note is that all of them are searching for more Biometals.
The middle group is the Hunters' Guild, upon which Gray and Ashe join after their initial beginning mission.
And the third picture is the Illegal Hunter, who stole Model A, only for its container to rupture so that Model A could be wielded by its destined Chosen One.
I was gonna post this info after people had commented on the other picture I posted... which no one has, so far.
That's probably because:
A. The info sucked.
B. It was old news.
Sucks to be you, RD.
But anyway, it looks interesting so far. I am still quite doubtful of the appearance of a Model Sigma, though I wouldn't be surprised if it'd be briefly mentioned or would appear in the sequel. *OMGSPOILER*
I must say, though, that I can't see Vent nor Aile on that picture posted there.
Also, the blue-haired one should've been Mikhail. The Quasimodo-wannabe looks way too much like Wily. Master Thomas looks quite the uber good guy, though. And I wouldn't be surprised if the goatee-bearing guy in the lowest picture would be somewhat related to the first Albert, Dr. Wily.
The dude on the far right in the middle picture has the same finger tips as Serpent equipped with Model W. >_>
Can't wait for this to come out. The final boss better be hard as hell.
