Vent and Aile were only the Chosen Ones for Model X. They just used Model X to Double Megamerge with Z, H, F, L, and P.

New, major update! The last of the eight bosses, and the new Mega Men!



The boss, at the bottom, is Bifrost the Crocoroid. The new Mega Men, owners of Models F, H, L, and P respectively, are Atlas, Helios, Thetis, and Siarnaq, also respectively.

That last boss reminds me of a big ice guy in either MMZ2 or MMZ3.

As for those four guys, they seem a bit weird. The rightmost one seems a little bit too much obsessed with ninjas, and the green one appears a bit odd, though more mature than the others. I must say I kinda dislike Model H's wings from this view. Also, is Model L's "destined one" a guy or a girl? It's a bit vague and with the way Japanese go about with things, that person could just be a feminine guy or a musculine girl.

Thetis is a chick, it's just hard to tell with that hoodie she's wearing. I couldn't get a better picture of Mega Man P, though, and his helmet looks a bit weird. As for Mega Man H's wings, they're better than Harpuia's wings, even though DS keeps telling me Harpuia's wings are bigger. *snorts*

Considering the promotional cover art for ZXA, I'm guessing these four may play a role similar to the Four Guardians: originally considered evil, but may turn good. If that's the case, they better watch out for Mega Man O. >.> But yeah, that's just my speculation.

Alright then, if she is, that fits better with the Model AND the name. Considering Thetis was a Greek goddess of water. >.>

The other names fit well, also, though I have no effen idea as to what "Siarnaq" is supposed to mean.

Atlas, I can't quite put my finger on it, but he looks familiar. Perhaps from a cartoon anime.

Helios, he looks awesome, he looks like he might be fun to play against.

Thetis, based on the water nymph, and yes, female gendered. In fact, there are already message boards at various sites, people are complaining on how she looks. I say, don't under estimate her, she could end up being the hardest to fight. Why judge on first looks, it's like Harpuia or Tornado Tonion (X7) all over again.

Siarnaq, is it just me or does the Phantom design resemble a beetle, more specifically the head. Not to mention, he looks like Strider.

Bifrost the Crocoroid, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, it's about freakin' time for him to be revealed.

Now, this raises an interesting point. Down in the corner, you see the touch-screen portion for form-changing. You've got A and Hu, representing Mega Man A and the human form. Obviously, three of those other symbols represent Pseudoroids. In fact, they are: Deeburn, Chronoforce, Rospark, and Condorrock. But those others? Don't those look like Mega Man F, Mega Man P, and Mega Man L?

Why yes, yes there are. The "acquirable" Biometals are Models H, F, L, P, and ZX. Yes, ZX. Don't believe me? Feast your eyes on this:

Edit: Looks like we were wrong about genders. Turns out that all of the new Chosen Ones are male, except for Atlas, who is in fact, a female.

And to further inform you, the ZXA official site pretty much confirms the ability to shapeshift into the other Chosen Ones. The functions of each are pretty much the same as HX, FX, LX, and PX, including the touchscreen functions. While ZX is also an acquirable form the site says nothing on the matter... perhaps its a bonus, like Model O?

Then again, looking at the picture, although the face doesn't really appear feminine, the rest of the body could be of either sex. Wide shirts and all, 'tis what confused me on Thetis' part.

But now it is confirmed, eh? Grand. Now we all gotta hope Atlas isn't hyperactive, or else that'll be a fight should there ever come one against her. >.>

So they're bringing Model W back again... I dunno, I guess I expected it, but I'm still disappointed.

And if ZX is the new Model O, I'm gonna be very disappointed. Model O really wasn't expected to be in ZX, and it was a villain, which made it so awesome. I really don't care about sweet moves and all, it's the creativity of the secret form that I want. And recycling ZX... no.

If a ZX3 were to come out, I personally would like to see two different Dragon type bosses. For some examples:
Tornadra the Tiamatoid
Wintervale the Wyveroid

... what brought on the comment about dragon Pseudoroids? There hasn't been a single Dragon-type Pseudoroid in the ZX series yet. If you're mistaking Condorrock and Bifrost, those are a bird type and crocodile type, respectively.

True, but there'll never be a Dragon-type cooler than Magma Dragoon.

but the X series had no dragon reploid/maverick in the first 3 games. Magma Dragoon was the first Dragon

and i believe that the Megaman Zero series doesn't even have a dragon Maverick (i might be wrong)

Honestly, I really thought that with Weil's numbers and the Norse theme going there, there'd be Nidhoggr the dragon to fight as a sub-boss in the final stage or something. =O

That'd be a little too nuts, Morph. The only thing worse would be a Jormungandr boss fight.

Or Fenrir. But they went ahead and turned him into a whimpsy little ice wolf with arm blades. <.<

You know, the only thing that could really add to that, is perhaps Hel and all sorts of warriors who have died in ages past.

Little tidbit of knowledge, now that the game is out and about in Japan.

When playing as Model ZX, you now have an energy gauge, and your charge attacks drain energy. However, the charge attacks of Model ZX are far more powerful than Model A's. Also, you can perform the rolling slash attack and downward thrust with Model ZX. There still is no touch-screen ability for the ZX.

Also, when using the forms of Helios, Atlas, Thetis, Siarnaq, and Vent/Aile, there is no more Overdrive Invoke System.

Model W will also make a return, and its creator is revealed!
