Takeshi Aono, voice of Dr. Wily, passes away at 76
Original Series, by Dr. Cossack on 10 April 2012 at 8:34

As reported by the Mega Man Network, voice actor Takeshi Aono passed away yesterday after being sick for the past two years. While he played multiple roles over many, many years, he was better known to Mega Man fans as the Japanese voice for Dr. Wily. He's been associated with the character for about as long as he's had a voice. The Rockman 10 Image Soundtrack included some clips by him, including this memorable speech where he declares to the world how he is the mastermind behind the Roboenza virus.

We'll miss him!

Sad news.

I wonder how Mega Man would react to Dr. Wily's death. Some might think "good riddance," but I think he would take it more somberly, paying his silent respects.
