Capcom announced during a livestream earlier today none other than Mega Man 11, the next release in the orignal series. A trailer has been made available to recap the history of the series as well as to introduce this new game. It's expected to be released on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam in late 2018.
Also, Mega Man X1 to X8 will be re-released on the same platforms sometime in the coming year. It's not known yet if this'll be through individual releases or a collection of some sort like the recent Legacy Collections.
Speaking of the Legacy Collections, volumes 1 and 2 will also be made available on Nintendo Switch in the coming months! This will give players of the platform a chance to refresh their skills on the older games or discover them for the first time before the long-awaited sequel finally releases.
