Twentieth anniversary!
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 6 May 2020 at 22:12

What started as a simple web page to hold information about a wannabe Mega Man 5 remake gradually turned into an all-purpose Mega Man fansite, aiming to be a reference in news, [playable games on PC](https://www.interordi.com/mega_man_pc/games/pc/) and other things. Well, that reference is 20 years old as of today!

The franchise itself had a peak in activity around 2004. While things have slowed down, there have still been interesting releases recently, such as the Sega Genesis Mini being packaged with the long-lost Wily Wars, or the recent multiplatform Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.

While this place isn't my main focus anymore, I still make sure that it remains in good working order for anyone who would like to visit. You might be surprised at how much traffic some pages get even today, especially the [maps for the Battle Network series](https://www.interordi.com/mega_man_pc/games/mmbn.php)!

With a [visual refresh only three days ago](https://www.interordi.com/mega_man_pc/news.php?view=item&no_news=493), the site is in good standing to remain available as a reference for some years still.

As always, thanks for visiting!

Presenting Dr. Cossack's Lab, v6!
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 3 May 2020 at 23:54

Many, many long years since the last major website revamp, it's time to move forward by introducing you to the sixth major version of this website!

This isn't a revolution as much as it is a big step forward, done in continuity with what has come before it. This refresh follows newer web standards to a degree, improves on usability and adds some much-needed mobile compatibility. For what is meant to be a reference, having the site scale for a variety of devices is important! A few older design elements remain and will be smoothed out over time.

With this comes a partial rebranding of the website, as I'm putting the **Dr. Cossack's Lab** name forward. This lines up better with the other components of the Interordi network and is shorter to memorize. If you prefer to call it MMPC still, don't worry: the subtitle *Mega Man PC Website* remains!

As a bonus, the news are now reposted on our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/qTGrnUH), in the #news channel, as you might have already seen for our Minecraft community at the [Creeper's Lab](https://www.creeperslab.net/).

Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any comments on this!
