i thought of hat myself too. it would be nice to Netbattle against other people in the world.
but since we know CapCom, they won\'t do it :P. they\'re too busy making a Resi for the DS with Wi-Fi options (this is not true but it MIGHT happen)
It would be a bit chaotic, but an Okay Idea I guess.
A Battle Network MMORPG would work too well to simply ignore the idea! I didn\'t thought of implementing it with Nintendo\'s Wi-Fi system, but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense: the series was built on a portable system, so the market is already set. Having it done on the DS would be the best fit! That might very well be the first MMORPG I play if it gets done.

well the market is already open so a game launching like BNO (battle network Online) wouldn\'t be a bad idea. or they make a new Megaman Series only for DS. maybe a combination of all series, a real world and a cyberworld, and more like that
The thing that would turn me off with this would be subscription fees think that over a minute with a game like this.

I don't hope they do, well, I guess because i don't have a DS....
Since it was on the DS, I don't think you'd have to pay... O.o I would thinka one time fee for the game cartridge, with a one player and MMO mode. Single player to create your navi and operator with just random battles(Teh suk) and the REAL reason for the game, MMO. I'd say a one time payment of $50 would suffice, although the world would be limited.
In fact a MMBN MMORPG would be somewhat easy to make.
The world is in 2D, and if it were to stay that way it'd be teh ezeey to actually make the game. All you need is some recoloring, mirror action and altering some places that already exsist in one(all)of the prvious games.
And as for the custom navis, they'd follow the same pattern as in most of the MMORPGs, a few diffrent parts, and a few color options.
And then it'd be endless lvling up and collecting chips and whatnot.
I would love the idea if i had a DS, but im saving for a new PC. 
ņets see what happens. i would like to custimize my navy a lot and also level him up so much. XD. but that aint going to happen. :S
