I know we\'ve had this topic before, but I can\'t find it. Oh well.
I would say there\'s a slight difference between choosing between \"best character\" and \"favorite character\". The best one has to be Mario because he\'s so volatile: he\'s done almost all of the game types possible. Choosing a favorite is much harder... I don\'t know who I\'d say.

Fawful is abit overrated, it was all about him and that freakin\' blonde haired bean..fanwise. Alot of Fawful quotes. Both of those characters I didn\'t like that much but eh.

The entire cast of Chrono Trigger excluding Marle. 
The entire cast of Dragonquest 8..excluding that piece of crap Argonian prince. Medea did annoy me but she redeemed herself. (it\'s a secret!)

Bio Rex, Mighty Gazelle, Octoman, and The Skull.. Red Gazelle is my favorite F-Zero machine. :cool:
Everyone in the original and X series nix Signas, Douglas, Lifesavor and the rest of those side-character morons.. Not Alia though, she\'s cool. I really didn\'t like Iris either.

Hell, Cloud and Squall are chars I like a lot, even though they got a lot of flak.
In fact, Dynamo was the only character I didn\'t like much, if only because by impression of him after X6 was \"WTF?\".
