Dogs aren't just pets, they're your companions. You definitely get more out of a dog then any cat, if you're willing to take care of it.

I dunno about a dog but I got two pet rats!

I have several friends who prefer to have Black Widows as pets. They catch various insects to feed to the spider. In fact, my good friend Zack, one of his pet Widows nearly got to the size of a quarter, body wise.

I know a woman who got bitten several times in the arm by a Black Widow. And the old bird didn't go to the hospital after. Its amazing she didn't die or lose her arm. She's too stubborn to die, I guess.

I hate spiders. Actually all bugs. They are icky. :[
