This topic is basicly a discussion to see who's heard of it, and who thinks it's a load of plant fertalizer.

My mom has gone on a tangent from reading it. She's gone so far as to toss the microwave!!:eek: Along with hardly any sugar in our diets. No more salty foods like those cup-of-soup things. It's horrible!!

Anybody freaked about the microwave

The reason is that in the book it says something about that the food you cook in your microwave will add some kind of poison to the food making it a higher chance for poison in your body........I read that and I still use the Microwave......Does it not say something about sun block causing more cancer?

The problem is that radiation is everywhere. The microwave won't kill you.

My mom has become paranoid. The Microwave thing is probably true, but then, the same problam is in cell phones and tv screens etc. There's no escape..!:eek: I figure, we aren't gonna live forever, so why try? It also said that the non-stick stuff they put on pots and pans is poisonous. It seems like everything that guy talks about in the book causes cancer...kinda scary.

As for microwaves, don't know. Cellphones doesn't cause enough radiation to poison you anyway.

Oh, he also said that radiation from satellites hurt you too.... Life sure does suck nowadays.:sick: My mom has banned sugar now, too.

Yes, alot of those things are true. But actually, in each kind of food, even 'healthy' ones, is some kind of stuff that aint good fo yah.
And the Microwave? From what I've heard even living things themselves emit more radiation. Dunno if it's true, but the MW isn't worse than the billions of radiational emitters out there.

Lol, my mom thinks now that we found out about teflon, that it's gonna kill us instantly, even though we've used it for years!:lol: I think she's acting a little quickly.. I don't need the microwave, cause the oven still exists, the teflon isn't a problam, and she got some sugar that isn't bad for you. The only problam now is that I can't have fruity pebbles and stuff like that!! I'll miss it......:cry:

Aside from being funny, that was pointless.:lol: Why would there be risks to that, I mean, it's only waste materials that are left over with no nutrients left. It is most likely neither good nor bad for you.;D It probably tastes bad, though, so I wouldn't recommend doing it.

My mom's obsessed with this even though it's total BS. honestly she has gone far enough to buy a sand box so she could farm her own vegtables, and she forces us to eat all these exotic fish oils and things like that coz she thinks they'll help us stay healthy.

No man....This book is not Bull Sh!t....Its true....All the things in this book it true....knowing what he wrote on the internant he said he did 3 years of research and decided to warn people about these topics in the Book......

Some of this is true but still tossing the microwave to get rid of radiation is stupid the only way thats dangerous is as Windy said The only way it would be dangerous is if you stuck your head in it honestly if you ask me this book should be titled The morons guide to being paranoid of the world
