Also, there seemed to be a fair amount of discussion earlier about Jaden\'s spammy post of \"awesome.\" Now let us clarify for the ignorant; spam is a useless post that says only, \"awesome,\" \"lol,\" \"me, too,\" etc. It is also against the rules. Don\'t post unless you actually have something to say.

I\'ve tried to play a duel against Jaden over PM, but we quit, cuzz I didn\'t knew ALL rules (I don\'t have such a handy rule book, I had to learn it all by myself from the show and what it says on the cards!).

Actually, Jaden, he\'s right. As I stated before, there\'s no sense calling yourself a duelist or saying you can play if you\'re not going by official rules- I don\'t care how good you think you are with your circle of friends.

I\'m not saying if you\'re a good player or not, but by the sound of things and by looking at your deck, you have no real sense of strategy, and your immaturity is proven by your reaction when someone tries to correct you. And, for the record, don\'t make \"threats\" on people. \"I\'m the last person you want to tick off.\" Yeah. Right. Making threats just eventually gets you banned, and face it; there really isn\'t anything you can do to anyone here, anyway.

Also, try to type using proper English; if you want us to take you seriously, stop looking and sounding like a little kid. Don\'t get so defensive if someone says something you don\'t like; WindRider didn\'t specifically attack you, he only stated the truth; that your deck doesn\'t appear as though it would hold up in a real tournament.

Really quick Wind, what did you mean by \"preferably Forbidden Memories?\" Did you mean the PSX one? Because that was a horrible way to get aquainted. No effects, no summon tribute, remade magic and traps, a weird planetary bonus system; almost nothing like the original. Were you kidding?:eek:

The Gameboy games are probably best for getting aquainted. They play the most realisticly. You can play however you like, but you can\'t brag until you play by tournament rules (and win, unlike me :(). Yeah, I have a deck, but I\'m pretty bad. I\'ve also kind of stopped collecting. My last major investment was Joey\'s Red Eyes Black Dragon tin.

You say \"The Real Strategy\" as though it\'s the only one there, WindRider. There\'s plenty of strategies to work from. Just because yours works for you doesn\'t mean that there aren\'t others which are just as good or better.

Well, I have a deck. Which is kinda like saying \"A fisherman has caught a fish\". You don\'t have to say what the fish is or how big it is.

I think it\'s really important that you like the cards you have. Otherwise, you don\'t get that \"I kicked your butt\" feeling once your card does some damage, right? I\'d really love to have the cards to make a robot-themed deck (Machine King, Ancient Gear Golem, etc.)

I\'m seriously considering losing the Toons, not because I don\'t have enough to pull off the strategy (I have another Toon Summoned Skull and Toon Mermaid, as well as a Manga Ryu-Ran), but because there does not seem to BE a decent strategy with them that is not based around them.
Also, I\'m not sure this could compete in a tournament because I think some don\'t allow decks with over 40 cards (though most consider it a handicap) or with starter deck cards.

Wind, let me make this clear:

1. I DID know that God Cards weren\'t allowed.

2. I ALSO learned it from other people, who DID have rule books.

3. I have also learned the rules from an online rulebook, but it was incomplete.

4. There are no shops around selling Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, so no Starter Decks as well.

5. I got all my cards from my cousins, so I can\'t just buy some cards from a set I like to make my deck better.

6. I didn\'t say I\'m \'hot stuff\', cuzz I watched the show. Most time, I didn\'t watch it. Plus, I didn\'t and don\'t think it ROXX, I liked it, and that\'s as far as it goes.

Well ForteXX, you sure have an interesting deck. However, I think that some things just don\'t combine. You should replace Red-Eyes for one with same ATK and DEF but of lvl 6. The Envoy\'s are great in any deck that features some Light and Darkness. The BEUD technique goes well with decks based around fusion and those which don\'t have much high-level monster before you put that in. Elemental Heroes... well... they are what they are, and can be good if used right. Just like with everything.

I think you\'re trying to put a bit too many strategies in one deck. You should take out or replace some cards, and put those and other cards that go well with the deck in your side-deck.

I\'d like to try and run spellcasters, but it\'s not going so well. I have a Skilled Dark Magician, my three Gemini Elves, and Mystical Elf for good summons so far. Dark Magician Girl is my main, since I use a Sage\'s Stone combo with her. i have to use a lot of spells traps, and stall cards with it. WAY glad it\'s not my main yet. Anyone got any tips?

I\'d give you some. Don saves me all the good cards at the shop and sells them to me for $2. Great guy.
