Guys, great news Search for Halo three on Gamefaqs and you\'ll see that Halo 3 has a release date for The 2nd quarter of next year and of course it will be on the 360. Woah two topics posted in two minutes.

Sweeeeet, I can\'t waite, although I shall not get a Xbox360, I know I will play it.

I have mine pre ordered sucka\'s (I mean my 360) anyways I hope it\'s worth it.

Halo has great mythology but poor, repetitive, uninspired gameplay. I found the first enjoyable for what it was but it got over hyped quickly (was also said to have great grapics but the polygons are so low you can count them). Bungie got the idea that since the first was so popular, consumers would buy and crap they shoved out the gate. That crap was Halo 2.

Halo 2 was so over hyped that when it came out people didn\'t want to admit how bad it really was.

They also got the idea to cut the game in two to make room for Halo 3. I have a feeling that this will end up just like the second.

Will I buy it? Probably not. Will I play a friend\'s copy? Most likely.

And Halo 3 doesn\'t have a release date. It only says second quarter. That\'s GameFAQs\' estimation. A release date is a deffinate day that the game is available for perchase.

Windy, that\'s your opinion you\'re entitled to it, but you can\'t force people to fit your opinion. I\'ll admit Halo 2 was a bit overhyped but I want to see what they can do to this with the 360\'s potential.

It doesn\'t really matter to me. I\'m still working with a PSX, two GBC\'s, a DS and a computer.

I\'m only getting a 360 for Oblivion and maybe the new Project Gotham Racing.

Okay first off windy if EA\'s backing off Why the hell did they remake Madden 06 for it in the first place second I have a job mowing lawns over the summer next year that should make me decent money to get a PS3 i\'ll try to get both of them at this rate but that doesn\'t mean i\'m biased against the PS3 I currently have a ps2 at home (what\'s amazing is the fact I got it the day it came out and it still isn\'t having Disc read problems) and I like sony but both sides are in my mind evil empires. Next thing we know EA will be making a freakin console. .The Ps3 I will get eventually too and im not discreditting it Sony did their home work but think a minute the blu-ray discs are still a bit expieremental and we don\'t know how much they will cost I can at least understand the 360\'s games being $60. Plus it appears that Rare has flocked to the 360 now too judging from Perfect Dark Zero. I\'ve played demos of the 360 in stores I like what I see.
and in terms of the PS3 cost i\'m going to quote ELectronic Gaming MOnthly\'s Dan Hsu on this when I say

The only two reasons I could convince myself to buy a PS3 would be if Kingdom Hearts 3 came or X9 came.

Videogame IS a dirty word. Just ask +g mode. Comes up as <censored> every time.
