I just saw that the XBOX 360 came out bursting with a variety of games from different developers people say that Microsoft will will the next-gen console war becuase of it\'s early release date.

Anywho,two of my freinds bought the console and one of them bought a different type it\'s called the core sytem and I\'m wondering if anyone here knows what it is?

I heard they were 400 dollars!
And you need one of those high dimension tv for the systems full potential...

That\'d be too expensive for me...

The \"Core System\" is the cheap version: it costs about 300$ US and lacks some of the stuff that the full version offers for 100$ US more. One of those features is a hard drive to save your game and use other functions.

As far as the Xbox 360 winning this round of consoles because it was first to market... I don\'t think so. After all, on the current generation of consoles, the Dreamcast beat all of the others, yet fell down before it\'s time. Remember that the console went against the PS2, GC and Xbox!

Bursting selection of games? There are only about three or four new games for the system. All others are on the Xbox or PC already.

And as Doc said, the \"Core System\" is the cheap lame version without a hard drive.
