This actually IS NOT a rumour (duh, the game is already out), but I'll post here anyway:

AFTER GAME SPOILER: THE TRUE END!

Lan moves back to ACDC and introduces Copyroid MegaMan to his friends, then the party goes out to play.

Screen blackens.

20 years (!) later:

Lan and Maylu (Netto and Meiru) are married (!!!NO RELATIONSHIP-AMNESIA!!!) and have a kid now, name Raito (light) in the Japanese version. They wake up, and Raito goes to school.

Raito Hikari = Light light?

Raito = possible "Ray" in American/European version.

1. BD, then you shouldn't have read the spoiler. It's your own fault.

2. Copyroid MegaMan? Well, a copyroid is some kind of robot that transforms into a real-world Navi if a Navi takes control of it. Thus, you can play MegaMan in the real world at certain points in the game.

3. The X series went up to EIGHT. The other ones are more sidestories, like BN's Transmission or Battle Chip Challenge.
