Topic: Check out my sprite sheet!
Please use it if you make comics, Morphman.
Nicely done. ShadeMan with Zero and wings from some Zero endboss... recolour... that one's nice.
Don't forget though, that recolouring is quite easy, even with 32-bits.
That does not mean I dislike this work, I want to see more.
I mean, it's only one or two stances... >>

I like it. The second one and the second sprite is my fave.
PS: IS this what i'm supposed to see whenever i read the "an RPG" topic when your in it?
Nightmares are dreams that need re-coding.
Bye-bye, Inti.... IF Doc bans me like I told him to.

You did a very nice job.
I've seen a better Absolute Zero but on all the other sprites you did very well.
One real problem with these latest is that you seem to be highlighting parts which are normally shadow. Doing this on any recolored sprite usually gives off a very unrealistic and obviously recolored effect. Notice that parts that become darker are now becoming lighter. Of couse, the easiest way to fix this would be to keep your original pallete and just fill in the parts in the reverse order.

They're Dark Versions, so I made them DARKER.

Yes, but you should make them darker with the shading still realisticly applied. When you place highlighting in the place of shading the sprites can no longer be used with any other sprites or in settings because the light source is incorrect.

Hey! I got an Idea! Why don't you make NightShade and Akumu!
Nightmares are dreams that need re-coding.
Aren't those fan characters?

Sorry, but you know Spider, that's one of the number one spriting no-nos. Have you ever tried it when recoloring a Guilty Gear Isuka or Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO sprite? It just makes the animation horrible. Characters don't fit in with any others. The goal of spriting is to make a good representation of the character you're actually trying to draw, and to see a character like that in real life, with their shading coming from the incorrect light source, would make them appear to be unreal, or kind of cut-and-pasted into a photograph.

Okay, enough worshipping Stan Lee for now. Serious critique-ing time now.
You're trying, at least, which is good, 777. But if you don't mind my saying, your sprites are basically those which are commonly referred to as "Frankensteins".
This just means that you took bits and pieces from other sprites and added it to yours. Your first sheet is a recolor Zero with DBZ sprite hair. The only thing I saw that wasn't "Frankenstein'd" were the wings on the second sheet and that tentacle thing on the third one.
And in support of Aim's comment, the pink-haired sprite on the third sheet is an example of what he's saying. Keep the darker and lighter shades where they were before editing, or the recolor in whole looks very shoddy.
One last piece of advice? WHen you're recoloring or adding hand-drawn pieces to a sprite (I recommend the latter), you should make sure to inlclude about three or four shades of darker color. Some of your sprites, parts of them look 8-bit which contrasts with the 32-bit Zero head.
I might be nitpicking, but if you don't heed my advice, you won't be taken that seriously on big-league spriting boards.
