30:3=10 bucks each man paid.

30-25=5 they paid too much.

5-2=3 is what the piccolo returned.

3:3=1 is what each man received from the piccolo.

10-1=9 each man paid.

9x3=27 they paid.

27+2=29 bucks there are.
