Blaster.

The only cool characters to use a lightsaber are Obi-Wan and maybe Luke. Where as the man of all men in Star Wars, Han Solo uses a blaster. Therefore to be cool you have to use a blaster and being cool is important. :cool:

Which is why you use cover.

With a lightsaber you have to get in close and at close range your defence is sustantually lower than at a distance. You have less time to see attacks coming at you.

And I know that the Jedi can predict things but that\'s a really a paradox. If they can forsee things why couldn\'t they see the clone pwnage? Why do they look suprised when they die? What\'s in that hatch? What do the numbers mean? Why am I asking all this?!

Lightsabres can be thrown. And if there is no cover, you\'re screwd with a blaster.

The best way is to have about three of both in your pocket.

Even if you don\'t have cover you can dodge quite a few attacks and blast halve of them away.Although your right about the sabre i still prefer a buster.

The future isn\'t set in stone though. It\'s always in motion. Clone pwnage was completely unexpected to everyone, even the clones--with the exception of Palpatine.

Really, I enjoy FFVIII and all, but I\'m not really a fan of the gunblade. Not at all.
