No! Zombies will NEVER be real! I mean an undead monster who has to live off the brains of the living to turn them into other zombies? That\'s just stupid! However, that does not mean that ressurection is out of the question. I think that that may be possible in the future.

In this sense, a Zombie is ressurected via unnatural means (ie, Voodoo), so no.

However, a Zombie could be cryogenically frozen until their fatal illness can be cured and then thawed out, cured and use electricity to bring the heart back, supposedly, so does this count as a zobie if it\'s possible?

I say yes. Reason? A bored guy like me needs his mind to wander. Also plan incase it dose happen. So, yes, no reason.

well let me put it this way,

how are you going to move a pile of rotten muscles, if most of the organs are gone?

muscles need energy, O2 and electricity to be able to move and stay alive. A dead body don\'t recieve any O2 or energy, because the heart doesn\'t pump blood to those organs, and the blood is the most important part, and Zombies don\'t have any or at least not much.

did you know that electricity in the human bodies was found by using froglegs? it\'s true.

Nothing short of powerful arcane magic could wake the dead.

To clear up a few very unrealistic things mentioned about the undead:

-Zombies will rise from their graves!-
Vedict: Myth

A typical grave is six feet underground. The corpse is housed in a steel casket. The odds of anything that would possibly \"reanimate\" them would not likely make it down that far. And if something did (and somehow managed to reanimate the corpse) the newly made zombie would never make it out of the steel casket let alone dig six feet through the dirt.

-Zombies are afraid of the light!-
Verdict: Myth

A zombie is no longer human and fear is a human emotion. An undead ghoul fears nothing for he knows nothing. A zombie could walk through fire and never notice.

-Zombies are rotting!-
Verdict: Half truth

For a zombie to be reanimated, the brain must still be fully present. During reanimation the brain is turned into a new organ and overrides all former thoughts. If the brain is rotted away at all, a zombie cannot be made. This is why a zombie can only be made from a fresh corpse.

Some say that the rotting process is as normal as any human body rotting while others say that the artical that caused the reanimation would prolong the decomposition process. Neither have been proven.

-Shotguns FTW!-
Verdict: Dangerous misconception

Shotguns are good at close range and have excellent stopping power. If you want to destroy something up close or injure it from a distance, this is the way to go. However, in zombies can feel no pain and are dangerous in close range. Also, the large amounts of ammo one would need to carry would encumber even the strongest of all humans when swiftness is much needed.

-Machineguns = good idea!-
Verdict: Myth

Machineguns would seem like a good idea for thining a crowd. The rapid fire and bullet spread would garentee a hit....if dealing with humans. Since zombies cannot feel pain, this tactic would be ineffective. The only way to \"kill\" one is by destorying the brain. Machineguns lack stabillity (and, therefor, accuracy) so a headshot is highly unlikely. You would waste more ammunition than nessisary for a single zombie.

-Pistols are worthless!-
Verdict: Myth

A handgun is light and easy to move. Single shot insures that you don\'t waste ammo. A handgun could save your life in a mid to close range confrontation with a ghoul.

-Zombies are stupid!-
Verdict: Half truth

While they may not be intellegent, zombies have very good senses. They seem to have great hearing, eye sight, and smell. No research has been done on this and as to why and how these senses are enhanced.

I hope you all understand our undead enemy a little better. It is best to be prepared early. It\'s not a matter of \"if\" but more of a matter of \"when\" they come.
