That could be an idea, but it isn\'t one of my priorities... I would rather have all of the planned sections online first

umm would anyone tell me the diffrence between them.

HTML: The most popular webpage language. HTML is used to display pages, such as this one. HTML is static only: it doesn\'t do animations, and it can\'t be used to make scripts.
Javascript: This form of coding can\'t be used alone: it\'s mixed with HTML, to add some aditionnal features to webpages. Javascript can be used for some page animations, mouse over effects, form validations, etc.
PHP, Perl, CGI, ASP...: Those are scripting languages, to actually program. For example, this board is running PHP, and so is the IOekaki board. Those language are very powerful to make different scripts. However, to have something displayed on the screen, HTML is used by small parts around the code. What you\'re looking now is an HTML-only page, but the actual script generated it from a PHP code page.

InactiveUmm, do you need to learn stuff like php, cgi and stuff to make board like this? I\'m just asking because a friend of mine made a message board out of ikon board and he said he never had to learn cgi.
While I tried to make a board using PHP, and I just sucked into it.
Isn\'t knowledge really needed?

I find this alittle confusing... I have this problem with these things called WOALs. Each time I start to get online a WOAL appeers and boots me off so I need to use my dead brothers computer. These are linked to other programs which delete them. Once I got a major woal and BAM! My computer programs were erased but I got it back by using recovery disk\'s. I lost the disk and I fear the woal ill appeer again HELP ME PLEASE!:(

Sorry to bump up this topic from death, but for the people now learning or currently not learning HTML, Php, Cgi, etc, Higgy is making a site that has programs to make the code automatically and tutorials. He already has one up, but he\'s making a better version of it.
