Well, me and my friend Ray were at his place just playing games and such, when suddenly, while playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, I got an idea that we both quite liked:

Chao Garden Wi-Fi


A game featuring the Chaos as main fix-point for the DS (because that one just seems to go well with one another) in which you raise your Chao and let it play, talk with, or compete with others in races, fights or various mini-games, like finding a treasure.

In Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, you can increase the stats of your Chao on several points:

Fly, enabling your Chao (better) flight and dexterity.

Swim, which makes your Chao stronger in defense, and enabled it to swim (better).

Power, which increases it\'s strength.

Speed, which, logically enough, makes it faster.

Stamina, which increased the endurance of your Chao.

When one of these stats topped the others enough, it became visible in their appearance, through bigger wings, feet or fists and a different colour, for instance.

Also, you could get three different alignments: Hero, Neutral and Dark, all with a different appearance. Also would be nice if there were extra things added to difference in alignment in this \"Chao Garden Wi-Fi\", like how it acts, it\'s attitude and such.

Now, after ranting all this long, I\'d like to know your opinion on this.

Not a bad idea I think, though it should at least include some Sonic/Tails action of some sort. (Never underestimate the sonic fanbase;) )

Well, I thought about that, too. Instead of playing the Chao, you play a character you can create yourself (choose what kind of animal: hedgehog, fox; and colour: blue, green, pink...) and you raise your Chaos with that character.

Sounds like a plan! We should wait awhile to guage the reaction here, then perhaps submit the idea to Nintendo.

the main part of the game could be that you just can raise Chao\'s and Race, Fight or whatever you want through Wi-Fi.

they can become friends or rivals and there will be tournements held about who has the best Chao,

one of the best ideas Morph and i ever came up with (if you ask me)

maybe you can even create an own character, who raises the Chao and it might even begin to look like that character,

It\'s a pretty good idea to be able to race each other and bring chao over, but not to have chou that you don\'t know in the same room. So chao but not garden.

You need ridiculously ripped-off Pokemon brand combat to be considered viable.

Very true, if it has no appeal, it\'s wasted money, and nintendo\'s console market couldn\'t afford such a costly mistake, however...

If you had any game that allowed you to assemble a Sonic the Hedgehog character, you\'d sell millions and millions right there.

I don\'t know, it sounds like a good idea. I\'d definitely like to see more though if it\'s going to be a stand alone game.

There should probably be some kind of adventuring mode to get the stuff for your Chaos and your garden.

Well, about the rest you all said, having alot of different Chao from different players in the same room or garden is difficult. You\'d prolly need something like differently coloured indicators above your Chao\'s and your own character that match each other.

But I think due to the Wi-Fi part, it mainly would need to focus on the mini-games, like racing and fighting.

you create a charcter for yourself and you only, and during the raising, the Chao will begin to look like you and can give an idea to your opponents about how your character looks like. ofcourse if you don\'t want that raise them different so they look less like you

maybe you can even put in a storymode in the game, where you get to meet famous Sonic characters, like Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, etc.

they can learn your chao new things like how to climb faster or how to dive, or give them toys or something.

we can all make an idea for great game out of this if we work together
