Ahem, no.
I'm afraid that Cloud and SQUALL are from FFVII and VIII respectively. They appeared in the Kingdom Hearts games on a cameo, like many others.
Final Fantasy XII takes place in Ivalice, the same setting as Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. And even then, it takes place a millenia later. So it's a fresh new cast.

It's possible though! They brought Cloud into the first Tactics game.
