Although 6/6/06 is come and gone(bad luck to those who bet on the end of the world) i always thought it was a bunch of fricken bull crap. I MEAN OMG! IT'S A BLOODY NUMBER! Let's clarify [in case no one else did, because I really don't feel like reading everything].

The numbers 616, 666, or anything of the like are NOT dates of doomsday, numbers to remember, horrible omens of things to come ... of anything superstitious like that (well, superstitious ... maybe, but not like that).

In actual Christian Doctrine, the numbers represent the Mark of The Beast, supposedly the Anti-Christ given authority over ... well, the world. Supposedly at this point, theh Anti-Christ is empowered by the Prince of Demons ... Satan ... the Dragon ... eh.

In any case, it's nothing more than a MARK that goes on the right hand or forehead (through some designation ... partially symbolic, but most likely literal), to signify that you (or whatever poor sap that's got it) belong to Satan ... and NOT God ...

And having the Mark on your body ... kind of is a signal to God saying: "Hey! YOU SUCK GOD!!!" ... or something like that.
