And projects you are working on. (This doesn't have to be about IO)

Note: Your Flash movies MUST HAVE A PRELOADER! If you don't know how to make one, you can get a pre-made Newgrounds preloader here

Click "Pre-Loader" to start the download. After it's downloaded, open the preloader document as well as the doc you want to add the preloader to. Once both are opened, right click the first frame of the preloader document and select "Copy Frame(s)", switch over to the other doc and go to the first frame of the first scene, click and drag down all the layers in the timeline window, right click and select "Insert frames". After that insert a new layer and drag it to the top of the Layer list, then, in the first frame of the new layer, right click and select "Paste Frame(s)" and voala! You now have a preloader!

I'm currently working on a project called "As the Pings Turn" which is a Flash movie based off of chat logs from our very own #mmpc chatroom! It will feature some pretty funny conversations and stuff that ACTUALLY OCCURED! I'm not giving out any more details than that. I'll post the link to the final version once it's done.

This is an example of what you'll see once the preloader is installed, and the movie exported.

I know people who do a lot of flash outside this site. Too bad I don't make flash. I want to see some from our site though, so please post away.

I'd be glad to! "As the Pings Turn" requires a lot of chat logs so I'm letting that project go for now while I log conversations. On the other hand, I'm working on an All Your Base Flash movie that is expected to have some IO content in it. (If I can get the Doc's permission, as well as some IO pics) It should be pretty cool once I'm done. I'll post what I have so far momentarilly

The thing is....where are we ganna get $500 to buy the Flash thing.

I already have it! It cost me a LOT of money, but I got it! Macromedia Flash Proffesional 8! I use that program almost every day to work on stuff, or just experiment. I recommend it if you are willing to purchase it.

I'll be sure to ask the Doc about the IO Flash once I've completed some of my current projects. (They're really starting to stack up!) With the help of UE, I'll make these Flash movies as good as they can be before I post them on Newgrounds, or my own website. Wish me luck!

well, not all of us have enough spare cash just to buy a flashmaker >.<

That's ok, I think Macromedia.com has a trial version of Flash you can download to use temporarilly, to see if you like it.
