I'm a big fan of rp, like, on aim or whatnot.
I find it a great distraction from daily life.

I've almost always played original characters in rps, but I've found it's kind of fun to further develop a character that's already out there.

What is your favorite, non-original world to rp in, and who is your favorite character to play?

(Example: "I like playing in the Yuu Yuu Hakusho world. I love playing Kurama.")

Also, these questions are optional.
-What changes do you make to the world?
-Do you change your character's past/have him go through a certain experience that makes them fit into the change?

example: "I play as Sasuke from Naruto, but since I add werewolves to the universe I had him get bitten by one.

I don't play any famous characters, but, my favorite world to rp in is the MMX. I always mix a little magic and myth in there a little.
Mostly work with Vampires/demons/nagas and halfbreeds of said creatures.
In addition to magic, I love adding corrupt scientists and DNA mixing.
Half animal half human type of thing.

Can't wait to read what other people have come up with. :3

I play as Elk the wavemaster, I love the color blue which is one reason I am so attracted to being him. I also like the idea of being able to use magic.

Blazen, Velken, Sharpshooter, and a new charcater in the makes.

Leon, the KH world, and as for what I changed about the world, blades actually have a slashing effect and not a bashing affect. As for his past, I kept it the same. I also rp with other characters from others games and shows too.

Squall (leon), Myself (Psedosquall basically), Sasuke (Honestly I have everything down in that category, Itachi (*looks at Avi*), Kai Hiwatari (Beyblade for those who don't know), and on rare occasions Sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin.

*Starts laughing maniacally.* Okay, I'm... a mad RP addict, so it's a darned good thing you just asked about canon characters, or my list of characters I play would be pages long! lol.

I play, usually, whatever universe my partner wants to do, and add tweaks likewise. I usually try to keep a character's past believable within the context of that universe, only adding things that I think may actually have happened. This comes, too, because I'm the type who likes to develop a character through present, not through past.

So, as far as who I play, with The Helldragon and our insane multiverse of everything combined, I play Sage Harpuia (who sadly fell out of the picture a bit and doesn't do anything interesting anymore) Fighting Fefnir (who I play as even less than Sage) Fairy Leviathan- (who has apparently been sucked into an unlikely world of magic and goddess-hood- don't ask) Mokuba Kaiba (he's in his twenties at this point) and on rare occasion, I've been known to play Tea and Serenity (both of whom I can't stand, so that's interesting.) It wouldn't surprise me if I missed some there, but my muuuuch longer list is of OC's

Then there's Shadowfire's RP with me- there I play X and Alia, and other than forcing X to deal with a little magic and another plane of reality, I guess I don't change them up too much.

I have a looot more RP's than that, too, but most of 'em take place in a non-game or anime context. (And those that do include charactors I've already named.)

Oh, yeah, I also played Alouette on a forum RP once.

Oh, and Copy X in another RP, but that got ret-conned and we changed it to take place after he died because he's too anal to let anyone get away with anything and my friend wanted Harpuia in charge instead. XD

Ooooh.. the fun.. =D I play various MMX chars depending on who the other person is willing to take over... the ones I can't give up, though? Gate and Ikusu (from Megamission) Their histories are so vague, I enjoy trying to fill in the gaps, and give them more history and personality. I also like to work in sort of an alternate MMX reality, where the space colony didn't hit Earth at all in MMX6 (you can really do that, with the Enigma.. I did it once.. once), so the air isn't all polluted and junk, and it's a time of relative peace.

Gate - At the end of X6, it's suggested that they will work on reviving him, in the RP, he is revived, and works with the Hunters. He's very difficult to work with though, as he is a total perfectionist, and his betrayal by Alia (she helped kill the Reploids he made, remember?) has left him rather bitter, and suspicious of people. I like to fill in the gaps.. say.. in the past, he had a crush on Alia, and thought she liked him, too, but she was just pretending to be in love with him (or just letting him think she was in love with him) so she could get close to him, and get rid of his Reploids.

Ikusu I'm not really going to explain here. A lot of MMX fans have no idea who he is, what he is, or what his history is... and it's a long and convoluted history that would require pages to divulge.. XD

Two boards. One X-Men one, and another that's about the afterlife and stuff. It's really fun, though I started fairly recently. There aren't much members on both boards. =p

In me and Ri's RP, I play Seto Kaiba the most(who has saved the collective ass of the multiverse). I also play Fefnir. Most of my characters are OCs, really.

Alright, I'm most active on this RP board. It's about heaven and hell and what happened after the apocalypse.

We are still in need of two Archangels: Raphael and Uriel, and all of the Four Horsemen on Hell's side.

Also, nobody gets to play God, Jesus, or Lucifer. So you know it.
