Said photos were probably doctored.
The only unlockable characters in Sonic Advance 3 are Knuckles, Amy and Cream.

Screenshot hoaxes are good in some cases. That's why people are even considering Sonic for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And of course, there's the hoax that brought the existence of Akuma in Street Fighter.
they also said Toad was a playable character in SSBM, but the first time i saw a screenshot i knew they were fake, the toad you saw was the same one as the one running around in the Mario level in the Adventure mode, or the one Peach pulled out as a shield (loyalty has no limits *cough*)
Your now "Rayman" :lol:! Yeah people trick others with hoaxes but, the one with shadow in Sonic Advance 3 will not be true for later games. (At least I think not)
No shadow can not be unlocked BUT!Eggman and super sonic are playable.The only way to unlock eggman is to have an action replay.or play the entire game Super sonic and eggman fight the black robot in the extra level.
So here is who you can have knux,Tails,cream,Amy,and eggman.
